Looks good, hope to see the Phillips Balmain Jersey one day again.

We will, but I don't want another former player to die for quite a while to warrant it, we have had enough in the last 12 months

we did have Leo Nosworthy die earlier in the year last coach to coach Balmain tigers to a premiership in 1969 and previous player.

Dave Bolton who played in that 69 side which won the comp died earlier this year also

forgot about Dave Bolton
Difference is they were not Magpies I guess
a balmain jersey would sell the lights out

Seriously?
I was only thinking we've really matured, 10, 15 years ago we saw this Wests balmain rubbish all the time... Most of us have gone past that

easy if it is the Magpies side of the equation ink
Canterbury Cup Magpies
now the Magpies.jersey for Tommy
No Phillips balmain jersey for nosworthy or Bolton

Come one mate, you have been carrying on with this stuff for over a week now. I think it is extremely poor form to turn this into a Balmain vs Wests topic.

Cooler 1 week ..^^^

On a lighter note ..which would be the largest jersey to bid on ?
(Asking for a friend)

I'd guess 8 or 10, I have a couple of player worn jersey's and they don't come close to fitting me.

Shame packer is out .. I’d bid on that one ?

I have one of Keith Galloway's jerseys and I can't get it on.

I’ve got Halatau’s from 2006 I think it is, used to fit now it looks like body paint when I put it on!!

Should keep it classy and wheel out that Frangipani guy for the jersey presentations :face_with_rolling_eyes:

I'm sure they will do better this week.

I would love to see a line-up of Tommy's team mates from the Fibro V Silvertail days as an honour guard when his no. 7 jersey is presented @gallagher

No Jersey presentation however Tommy's wife and son Lincoln will carry out the game ball through a guard of honour of past Wests players Tommy played with and coached...

Tigers Premier Partner Neds are proud to be supporting charity organisation Smart Pups Assistance Dogs by donating their sternum presence on the team’s jersey this weekend.

In celebration of the late Tommy Raudonikis OAM, Wests Tigers will wear a specially-designed jersey for their Round 9 clash with the Smart Pups logo to instead feature prominently on the front of the strip.

In addition to donating their jersey presence, Neds will also make a financial contribution of $5,000 to Smart Pups, which will be presented at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Smart Pups Assistance Dogs is a non-for-profit charity organisation based on the Sunshine Coast that specialise in providing trained service dogs to assist children with special needs. A charity that was to the heart of Raudonikis, their goal is to improve the quality of life of children with special needs by training assistance dogs in task-specific skills.

Smart Pups CEO Janelle Denny expressed her gratitude towards Neds for their generosity.

“Smart Pups Assistance Dogs is so very appreciative of the generosity of Neds as their gift will help families achieve their goals for greater independence,” Denny said.

“This donation will enable us to purchase specially-bred labrador and golden retriever puppies for our assistance dog training program. These puppies will go on to become an integral part of the life of a child with a diagnosed special-need such as autism, seizures, mobility and diabetes-related syndromes.”

Neds Executive Director – Corporate Development Karl deKroo said the organisation was delighted to be able to contribute in this way.

“Neds is thrilled to partner with Wests Tigers and Smart Pups on this special jersey,” deKroo said.

“Tommy Raudonikis was a true rugby league legend and that has been reflected in the tributes that have flowed since his passing.

“Smart Pups was a charity very close to Tommy’s heart — he saw firsthand the number of children who had their quality of life improved through a Smart Pups assistance dog," he said.

“This truly is a great cause and, combining our jersey presence to promote Smart Pups and an initial $5,000 donation, we are delighted to be able to play our part in celebrating the life of Tommy Raudonikis.”

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe thanked Neds for their ongoing support and said he was looking forward to seeing the special jersey in action.

“On behalf of all at the club, I’d like to thank Neds for their partnership with the club and their unreserved contributions towards Smart Pups this weekend,” Pascoe said.

“It has been a tremendous effort by all involved to bring this jersey to life and I’m looking forward to seeing a strong Wests Tigers performance at Campbelltown Sports Stadium on Saturday.”

Great gesture by Neds to give up their spot on the jersey to help out Smart Pups.
Would of been nice if Bryden's could of followed in the same vein by shrinking their monstrous logo a bit to better emphasize the V on the jersey as well. Would've looked a lot better IMO.
Enough nitpicking though, only thing that matters is that our blokes play spirited and get the win.

I realise they support our club with many $$$ which we are obviously grateful for, but that logo is horrendous, it dominates the whole jersey of both Wests Magpies and Wests Tigers.

Sadly our first grade side as a whole is the antithesis of what the great Tommy embodied.

Seriously, those signatures would add nothing to the value of the jersey. Financially or emotionally.

Still a great gesture though. Maybe they knew what was coming and decided against bringing shame on their name by being on the WT jersey.
Bryden's sponsor more teams in the NRL than WT have home grounds, surely they could've budged a bit on the monstrosity that is their logo?

Was out bid on several jerseys - thank god

Yea, same boat. A win and I would've dug deeper but hanging a loss on the poolroom wall would be hard. A great man, a great cause, a fantastic looking strip but I wont be bidding any more. Such a shame, I think they will go for a fraction of what they could've with a decent showing. The club might be doing it already but maybe they should match whatever the jerseys raise as a nice gesture.
