Ik they’d be expensive but I wasn’t expecting 1k only a day in...these will end up close to 10k at the rate their going

I know I want one so bad but I can't keep up... people richer than me want the jerseys lol I'm hoping I can snag one but there's still a week left!

Why can’t we just run this jersey as our home one and the tigers version (golden orange) as the alternative? Surely that would massively outsell any other design and also appease both fan bases.


Because neither are a Wests Tigers jersey and are the jersey of a different club?

Well then add some orange to the black and vice versa but the point being more that a traditional jersey design is a stronger brand than the “modern” takes on the originals

I'm just wondering what the SFS stands for in your profile name? In defending your push for more "tradition" in the playing strip, I imagine SFS can't stand for Sydney Football Stadium? Like, the previous home of the Roosters that we un-traditionally used as a home base a few years ago?

I definitely can't justify over $1000 for a jersey no matter how cool they are ?

So your interest in tradition of the club stops with the jerseys? You're fine with our "one home ground" being the one shared with the Roosters and possibly Souths?

1) yes I think our traditional jersey design is the best branding

2) yes I think playing at the best rugby league ground in the world is best for our club over the long term

I see these signed, bidded on jerseys pop up in physios and dentist offices. I'm guessing they are able to justify it as a business expense or something? Makes it hard though, as a regular punter, to be able to get one of these for the pool room.

Let's hope that the boys do some face slapping in the sheds prior to the game and are that fired up that they lead the GC 30-0 at half time, with the gold coast having no fit player left on the bench for the second half.

I'm an old Magpies dinosaur and think this jersey is fantastic to commemorate Tommy. I would love to see the club do the same with the Phillips tigers jersey to commerate the passing of any Balmain legends as well. It is a way of celebrating where we have come from.

Tommy R is an exceptional legend of rugby league it is just extremely one sided at present hence the whole benny elias saga I guess.

Tommy was RUGBY LEAGUE a large as life character loved by everyone.
Bolton and Nosworthy whilst well known to Balmain people did not have the same status as TOMMY hence the difference I would say no other player in rugby league would have had 4 separate memorial days in his honour
TIGERS,JETS,SCG and now MAGPIES a true recognition of a great rugby league man.
