Tonights Game:

Firstly there are a few players that deserve a mention
Brooks - Always trying and even yelling at Blair as he wasn't in position
Taupau - Ran straight and hard all game
Teddy - Another showing of what he's capable of (even in a losin team)
Richards - Unlucky in a few touches but wow has been a massive buy
Ava - Thought he ran straight and hard tonight plus 20 tackles
Austin - He missed a vital tackle but he shows so much more in attack then Anasta, I know Braith adds value in team development and experience but he has no punch nor speed
Sue, Sirro, Nofo, Simona, Bodene all tried hard with little opportunities.
I was upset with
Blair - Gave away 4 penalties (2 they scores off)
Lawrence - 4 handling errors, I thought he was coming good
Galloway - played long minutes in the first half but he has not made 100m all year and for a starting prop I think his days are numbered. Cant see big Marty, Gavet, Hodge, Ava, Akaulo starting behing him
Luani - he is a good defender, gives away silly penalties but I see him as a good number 13 actually.
Poor sirro didn't get a chance to run much tonight but still made over 10m per run, needs more game time
halatau - poor fella, see how he pulls up

Richards had an absolute shocker, what game were you watching? He bombed 2 certain tries

Sirro: selected on rep not form
Dene: selected on rep not form
Anasta: selected on rep not form

Others had bad games but the above should never have happened!!

Richards knocked the ball forward after the ref blew the whistle (yes he would of scored if there wasn't a knockon/forward pass before - when was the other??? ) I thought he played strong - came in off his wing because if the up and in defence and ran the ball well - over 100m - unlike many a forward)

Only minutes before. If he went low like any other winger would've done he scores fairly easily but instead he went high with no room to move.

Gotta find a slot for Richards somewhere, but if Koro was on the left wing tonite how many tries wld he have scored…?
Potter has to add some strikepower to our attack

Galloway his run metres are currently 109th in Nrl
Nigel Plum, jack reed, Gerald beale, sisa waqa, ricky leutele, suaia Matagi, finucane, Tilse, walker, Brett white, jermey latimore, shaun fenson, Paul Vaughan are all above him:
tonight: 84m
Knights 98m
broncos 90m
titans 86m
Rooster 85m
Titans 54m
Parra 80m
Cowboys 92m
Warriors 90m
Souths 110m

I'm still scratching my head at the game plan. We left Lote untouched all night. Why Simona and Nofa weren't used to terrorise him I won't know.

Thought Sue was our best tonight. Ran with gusto every hit up. Austin's spark out of dummy half is so superior to anything Luani offers. Thompson had his usual dig.

Lawrence and Blair fighting off for our worst. Lawrence for obvious reasons, Blair for his constant penalties in the ruck.

Alex, I love me some Sue, but he dead set handed 2 tries away with diabolical defence behind the ruck. The rest of his game was straight fire though…

Sauce... he never hit the line hard, I dont know what his deal was but he stopped before the line his entire second stint. He needs a few harsh words for that performance, especially from a supposed senior prop. Shouldnt be fed.

People have mentioned him yelling at Blair , which is good because the senior player need to show they respect the half

But their is a golden rule when a play goes wrong

You tuck it under the arm ,take the hit and wait til you get the next chance and then give Blair a mouthful

Not try and hit a bloke who looked more likely to catch the Hendra virus than the ball

Tonight's game crap! Coaching crap! a lot of work for Potter and hopefully will get a pair! few players not selected next game … Lining up for premier league next week.

Yep. We need to play him and Simona on the left side.

The whole team were pathetic tonite. One of our worst performances of the year. Only competed in first 10 minutes of each half. I don't know what Anasta has to do to get dropped? He contributes absolutely nothing. The younger players are trying, but lack direction without Farah. Woods metres also missed badly tonite.
Lawrence past use by date. Only playing from reputation. On form since injury, does not desrve spot in first grade. Bring Noaf to centres & Koro to wing. Taupau is not a starting prop. Great impact player when defence has tired.
Lets hope the bye will freshen them up & Robbie & Woods come through unscathed.
Still much better than last year!

Isaac Luke had a party out there. He ran as he like, free as a bird. No efforts were made to bottle him up, thus the Burgess Brothers were able to get ball untouched. No wonder South's players had a picnic out there. Souths were allowed to run all over us, next time they had to neutralize the most potent player of the opposite side.

He might've scored 6 but probably would have let in 10.

Sooner they give him the flick the better. Tired of hearing about him.

Reggies are a lot different to NRL - the other teams would have a picnic.
