Tony Sukkar #292

The Suk is coming along as predicted. No world beater, but looking pretty solid and improving at a steady rate. One positive of this injury crisis is that by the end of 2026, Tony will have great experience playing 80 minutes at NRL level. Another off season, and another year older, he will be a quality back up option along with Roberts.
Agree. Very solid performance and in my top 3 today (for us).

Off contract end of this year ..,

Think it would be an opportune time now to reward him with a two year deal on modest money .,,he will do a job here as depth
He has had a good season with plenty of impressive games in NSW Cup now transferring to what I think was his career best game today at NRL level.
I still think he has a better future as a middle, but either way he has shown he is very worthy of a top 30 contract extension.

Tony is a hard worker. There's plenty there to persist with him. He's worth hanging on to if we are to spend good money on another second rower. He can be a floating forward.

He's an unpolished Twal.

The scoreline was not an accurate assessment of the game as i thought we were hobbled by biased refereeing.Having said that we did make a few dreadful errors.May should be ashamed of himself for disrupting the defensive line and costing us a try in the 2nd half because it would have given us a lift and a solid chance of a win.
Mason was terrible in both attack and defence and although he did not get much game time it was a very poor effort,I know he is young but one again he showed no reason why he deserves to stay (i hate bagging young blokes but he was horrible).

Once again we have players who put their heads down when things go wrong and that attitude has to change.

Apologies this is meant to be in the match game thread, please can the mods move it if they get a chance.
