Top 33 Players

Personally I think (based on this year's form) that Nofoaluma needs to be the first 3/4 picked. I'm not sure what more he could have really done for a debutant.

My Top 33
1\. James Tedesco (Shoe in)
2\. David Nofoaluma (Shoe in)
3\. Keith Lulia (Very underrated) (But i would love to see the trial game form and if Lawrence is back to his best then anything can happen)
4\. Tim Simona (Shoe in)
5\. Pat Richards (We need a goal kicker and even though he's getting on he still is a gun)
6\. Blake Austin (Has the potential to be a gun) Braith Anasta/ Steady head and has alot of experience)
7\. Luke Brooks (Shoe in)
8\. Aaron Woods (Shoe in)
9\. Robbie Farah (Shoe in)
10\. Keith Galloway (Shoe in)

12\. Curtis Sironen ( Shoe in)
13\. Ben Murdoch-masila (Showed his best form in the latter end of the season)
14\. Adam Blair (He's gotten better at prop but still not worth his price tag)
15\. Dene Halatau (I haven't seen alot of him in the past 3 years so i really don't know but i have heard good things about him)/Cory Paterson (Same as the above i haven't seen alot of him but am hearing good things about him)
16\. Ava Seumanufagai (Shoe in)
17\. Martin Taupau (I haven't seen alot of him but what i have seen i am happy with)

19\. Blake Austin (Has the potential to be a gun) Braith Anasta/ Steady head and has alot of experience)

25\. Taqele Naiyaravoro (Same as the above)
26\. Joel Luani (Soild replacement for Farah when he's either injured or on rep duties)

Why do you still have Matt Bell and Utai? I thought they're both gone, both off contract and neither look like theyre gonna get resigned imo.

I didn't know who to choose for number 33 i named 40 players but their not all in my top 33 that is why i put a / between them instead on writing 34\. 35\. ect ect…..If i had to choose a number 33 it would be Matt Mulcahy we are low on 5/8's as it is we only have Anasta,Austin and Moltzen to choose from. P.s i actually named 39......

I acutally was going to write too old and make alot of mistakes under their names but i didn't want to sound negative. I think Bell,Utai and Iosefa will all be gone before Round 1.

You listed Blake Austin twice, and Bell and Utai have not been re-signed.

I think the squad is already sorted, that is why he is naming it.

Lovett, Moses are in the full time squad (who are on your potential list)

I just finished writing exactly what pHyR3 and Erin19 but just after posting i saw their posts lol. But anyway i don't want to hi-jack a thread and argue for the sake of was it 39 or 40 players lets get back on topic and talk about who everyone thinks the top 33 players should be. Also instead oh writing 2 posts. i think Bell and Utai have 3 options
Option 1\. stay in nsw cup and wait for an injury crisis to hit Option 2\. go to Super League in the UK Option 3\. Retire

they have more or less named all the fulltime players.
Im pretty sure this is the sqaud (altho I could be wrong of a few fringe players)

1\. Tedesco
2, Rowe
3\. Noffa
4\. Lawrence
5\. Leilua
6\. Patt r
7\. Mr T
8 Marika
9\. Simona

(already annouced)

10\. Sirro
11\. Brooks
12\. Moses
13\. Anasta
14\. Moltzen
15\. Austin

16.Woods
17\. Galloway
18 M Tapaou
19\. Blair
20 BUchannab
21 Brown
22.Gavet

23\. Halatau
24\. Farah
25\. Luani

26 Fulton
27 Patterson
28 BMM
29 Bodene T
30 Sue
31 Lovett

Very confident the above all have full time contracts

Im not sure who has the last 2, My guess would be Mania Cherrington and Andy F, both have contracts not sure if they are full time.

In the second announcement of the 2014 playing squad, Wests Tigers coach Mick Potter takes us through the halves and hookers in his 33-man squad ahead of pre-season training.
Young guns Luke Brooks and Mitchell Moses have been included in the top squad for 2014, despite still being eligible for Holden Cup.
\
\
\
Robbie Farah and Braith Anasta have a wealth of experience between them and will play an integral role in the team playing alongside younger members of the squad.
With the addition of talented five-eighth Blake Austin from the Panthers, the depth of playmakers in the squad looks strong. Austin is a former Australian Schoolboys representative who played just 15 NRL games for Penrith after an unfortunate run of injuries.
\
\
Joel Luani will be Farah’s back up, with the young hooker getting a taste of NRL towards the end of the 2013 season. Luani’s transition from Under 20s through to NSW Cup this season was a successful one, earning him a two-year deal at the Club.
\
\
Tim Moltzen will return from a knee reconstruction for the 2014 season and his ability to play a range of positions will no doubt be very useful.
\
\
Mick Potter talks HALVES & HOOKERS for 2014:

“We’ve got Robbie Farah and Braith Anasta as the senior players and they really are our leaders around the park. Luke Brooks, Mitchell Moses and Joel Luani are amongst the young players that are coming through who have 2013 under their belt and will be better players for it. We have got plenty of direction there," Potter said.
“Add to that Tim Moltzen who can play numerous positions. You need that utility value and Tim can play halfback, wing, centre, five-eighth and fullback. He is athletic, knows the game well and is going to be a real good asset for us in 2014\. Tim is progressing well with his knee and is back running. Although he isn’t doing change of direction stuff yet, he is back with straight line running and that’s a promising sign.”
\
\
Stay tuned for the next announcement of back rowers/locks in the Wests Tigers 33-man playing squad for 2014.

Gees we've let a few promising hookers go because of Farah (who I love). Hope Luani is enough. Fults the other back up?

We have Luani,Halatau and even Fulton (If we have another injury crisis like this year) As back ups for 2013
and we also have Manaia Cherrington James Luff in the Holden cup who are both very good players.
