Top 5 WT of all time

benji
robbie
ellis
hodgo
heino
( always thought pat richards was hugely under-rated by many including origin selectors )

i think in a few years there will names like lawrence, tedesco and woods that will get mentioned in threads like this

1 Mo
2 Ellis
3 Farrah
4 Senter
5 Benji

I would like Bryce in there as well. I think Chris has been great. Blake is classy. Taniela was going somewhere.

My reasoning on Bryce is he always was a tiger and just looking at our start we have lacked his aggression in defence.

Benji has been injured a lot , Mo was a man of steel , as proven in the UK.

I rather do two top 5s. One for backs and another for forwards, I find it hard to compare them but here's my 5:

1\. Marshall
2\. Hodgson
3\. Farah
4\. Skandalis
5\. Ellis

Just backs:

1\. Marshall
2\. Hodgson
3\. Prince
4\. Fitzhenry
5\. Lawrence

Just forwards:

1\. Farah
2\. Skandalis
3\. Ellis
4\. Heighington
5\. O'Neil

Lawrence needs to be already mentioned. The dude has played for Australia multiple times, would be an Origin player if not for injury. Debuted at 17 and slayed it from the word go. He has been in first grade for 6 years now and at our club longer than anybody not named Benji Marshall, Robbie Farah, Chris Heighington and Liam Fulton (or Nathan Waters, yikes). We have watched this bloke go from raw, talented, schoolboy prodigy to out and out superstar and not once has he put a foot wrong, shown a negative trait, or could be accused of not trying. He's gotta be one of the most hard working players in the NRL, on the field, off the field, in the gym… everywhere. Lawrence not having 1 vote is not just.

1\. Farah
2\. Marshall
3\. Ellis
4\. Lawrence
5\. Hodgson

Hon mentions to Tuiaki, Prince, Skandalis, Galloway, Fulton, Heighington, Richards, Senter, O'Neill, Galea, Gibbs, Halatau

To come back from a dislocated hip in the same year is nothing short of remarkable should also be mentioned !!

Yeah I think the hardest call is between Skando and Buckets and to a lesser extent Ben Galea
The other four really picked themselves

My first 4, as it appears most on here agree with pick themselves. They are the best players to have worn our jumper by a mile and will still feature on this list for years to come. The 5th spot is very hard and my opinion will most probably change by the end of this year hopefully. But for now….

Benji
Farah
Ellis
Hodgson
Skandalis.

1\. Benji
2\. Skando/Mark O'neil (original from Maggie's and Balmain, true one club men)
3\. Hodgo
4\. Benny Galea
5\. Heighno/Darren Senter (toss a coin)

These are all true club men no politics no discrimination if you were a tiger you ARE a tiger, all about unity
