I don't believe they'd be that stupid. Why would they let go of an overpaid player to get one in return? It does little for their cap relief.

Dogs would let BJ go and create room for next year. Tigers would absorb and frontload DWZ

I was at the game, not far from where the coach was sitting. Poor bloke spent the first 20 mins sending messages to Chee-Kam to try and settle BJ down.

Looking forward to BJ leaving at seasons end.

That’s ludicrous . One is wearing maroon and playing on Wednesday , the other won’t sniff the bench for NZ, even if he didn’t start a dumpster fire on his way out of here . Each to their own I guess

With the exception of Mal,almost all huge centres wind their way into the back row sooner or later.Lose their speed and lateral mobility..just like BJ,who is finished as a outside back.Had a good run though...
Problem now is his work rate(and maybe attitude)is inadequate for NRL back row,and doubt he'll get another gig..its ESL or nothing from here
Just hope his brother remains objective and understanding...our backrow (incl Lucy)is shaping up pretty well atm with Garner and Blore having real impact

He is a good player. If you look at the stats one of the top middle forwards in relation to average run metres per game.

If Madge thinks he can get more value out of DWZ than Joey Leilua then the swap is a great idea. Given Joey is currently playing a new position in reserve grade I think it wouldn't take much.
