FT I don't think that Harry qualifies as a TPA as he already sponsors us. TPA's are supposed to be neutral. Supposed to be.

**Apparently we are in the running to sign him with Manly and the Roosters.** If the rumour is correct were trying to sign him for next year but it isn't looking likely and we're more confident of getting him for 2016.

Again i stress this is just a rumour from what I think to be a credible source, you guys can take of it what you want. Just passing on what I've heard.

And there's the end of our chances right there in the first sentence! When was the last time we actually snared a marquee player's signature when we were in the running against other clubs? Especially against the Roosters, who always seem to get whomever they want.

They get them because they give the player the money they want. **Loaded with TPA's the Roosters would only pay part of the full amount.**
That's what kills us

Why can't, or don't, we do this too, CQ?

We can't do it because we are not one of the protected club species and therefore we have to play by the rules of the Cap.

Correct it cannot be associated with the club or NRL

The best example I can think off would be Billy Slater and Australia Bananas

He is just Billy Slater in the ads , not a Storm ,Qld or Australian jersey in sight

Your probably spot on but I dare say Triguboff would have his Contacts in the Business World that aren't linked to our Club

Its our own sources , they never have any positive news

The best way to attract players especially marquee players to our club, is to start winning plenty of football matches. By doing that TPA's are easier to come by, the club generates a lot more money so the bottom line is better, sponsorships are easier to get and of course you do not have to pay silly overs to attract players. I know it is easier said than done, but we have the makings of a winning club, with a little bit of luck their is no reason why we can not be in the mix for the next five years or more
