It is pretty clear from the video the police had the shooter in their sights before he started shooting. Begs the question why did they not take him out?

Yes it's partisan. But the "fake news" stuff is just rubbish most of the time. Most media have a vetting process for anything they say or do, otherwise you end up with a dominion lawsuit like fox did.

The partisanship just really reflects what they spend their time on, not if it's factual or not. Undermining facts has become a massive issue and resulted in a lot of these conspiracy theories.

Also Spartan, part of my issue is that I firmly believe many people beyond the Centre-Right do in fact want to force their crap on me and my kids. It's not just the sensitive Lefties.

So for every person who wants me to use specific pronouns, which I am not really on board with, some Christian nutjob wants to put their 10 Commandments in my kids' school. That kind of moral policing is not unique to the over-sensitive Lefties, it's also a firm pillar of the less moderate Right.

IMO the only reason Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon, for example, has any power is because of two groups:

(1) the moronic uneducated hicks who think Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon has any ability to turn the country around, even if he had half a brain, in 4 years, or who think Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon gives a stuff about "The Little People", when he's been a spoon-fed gravy-train fraudster and bankrupt his whole life, spending his Dad's money and rubbing shoulders with the high end of town, handing out tax breaks to rich people.

(2) the Far Right militants and Christian Nationals who are far more organised and consider Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon the "Useful Idiot" who they can place in power and get him to pass the laws and say the things they have often been too afraid to say in public.
 
There is also a big group of Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon supporters (including one in this thread) who know he’s a moron who is on the same level as Biden. They know. But they will ride him because of his agenda and rhetoric. He’s a useful idiot.

I don’t necessarily agree with the MSM being the blame for this. Because some people have eyes and ears and can see for themselves, but i can see the logic. I cannot see the logic of Dems being responsible for what Republicans do. If our side come out this week, and in the middle of a set, Aidan Sezar starts taking a swing at Galvin, I’m not going to turn around and blame Damian Cook for it.

No it's not, that mentality has no real power.

First of all, there is always a generalised social agreement about what is "right" or "appropriate", and that agreement ebbs and flows with social dynamics.

For example it used to be extremely rude to not take off your hat when entering a building and men used to be able to speak on behalf of their wives in all domains, not ever requiring spousal permission.

Secondly nothing of what you are alluding too is actually law. I don't have to use pronouns, I retain my free speech, I can freely ignore the desires of certain interest groups on the Right or Left. People are allowed to be bigots if they choose, or racists.

What you are alluding to is a non-aligned movement pushing towards a greater consideration of the individual's needs. But literally meaning every individual, to a tiresome level. Which I always find weird because that is also what the Right want, they want the individual to have all their personal needs met via freedom, but both sides can't help but want to impose new rules in pursuit of that freedom.

So who for example can really and truly be "cancelled"? They all come back eventually. Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon can sexually assault a woman, incite a riot, cheat his taxes, talk about "grabbing pussy" and he's still in the running to be President. So I don't understand how anyone can claim that "woke" is a ruling paradigm when the antithesis of the woke definition is regularly in or very near to power - not just your Trumps but your Jinpings, Putins, Orbans, Le Pen, Meloni from Italy, Farage, Sunak and Boris Johnson etc. etc.

No there's always a ruling class that polices what is right or appropriate, which a majority of the population generally ridicules in private, but begrudgingly complies with in public.

Dazza the project manager doesn't have he/him in his email footer due to a genuine belief that people might mistake him for a woman, he's just going along with what the Karens expect of him, while privately being embarrassed about how stupid it is.

Who cares. The outrage over pronouns is so stupid. Why should I care how someone wants to refer to themselves? It’s stupid, but I go on with my day. I don’t get triggered by it.

How appalling is it that this kind of behavior is celebrated by people who have absolutely little moral or love of another human being...No matter if you disagree with Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon or Biden they are human beings that were voted in as the leader of the FREE world...
There are many people who are suffering at the hands of their voted in elects,you just have to look what is happening in France,Canada and UK as an example..
The only people that really suffer are the citizens of the country,the workers,the tax payers and the unfortunates..
The government is a fallacy,they are elected by the people to care for them and the nation not fatten their wallets or friends wallets,but this has happened over many,many years...we cant help you because we have no money,however we can give billions overseas to less fortunate people who are getting billions from other countries as well.
I have had respect for many presidents of the USA in my lifetime,none other than JFK who was a Democrat even though I have respected the Republican presidents as well..
JFK was a man who wanted the best for the people and the country,he knew the CIA and other depts were corrupt,wanted to dissolve them and have the people get involved in helping run the country...We all know what happened to him because he wanted whats best for his people..
These days corruption is rife throughout the Govts,media and big corporations,we need to assert ourselves as human beings and not be overidden by the people who we have elected and pay their salary only to stand over us and tell us whats best for us...ONLY we can do it,stand together and say NO MORE ......

Huh? Wasn't that found to be true with Russia meddling in the elections through hacks and social media propaganda?

If you're talking about that Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon didn't get indicted for it, that's just because that's a whole different bar.

Lets look at it another way, you're not concerned that a dictatorship prefers one side of the aisle?
