You are conflating racism with right wing politics. Look up racism is Stalin's Soviet Union. Lots of it there too...it wasn't a Utopia.

What traditional values did he have? Are traditional values now seen as extreme? What are these traditional values and what makes them extreme in your view? I'm genuinely interested.

Regarding definitions, how can a definition change? It has already been defined. When something is defined, it has been given a word to describe something. You can't evolve it into something else. That's how we get the notion that Trans women are actual women and the separation of the words sex and gender as if they mean different things.

If you want to create a word that describes something that differs from an original definition, that's fine, but to add meanings to an already defined concept or thing is not using the word correctly for its intended meaning.

Strange take. The Democrats tried everything during his presidency to get him out of power. It was a disgrace. They never took the result well and it was 4 years of attacks to try and push him out.

I'm not surprised he challenged results legally before he bowed out.

The real dictatorship is the Democratic party with the way they attack their political opponents.

I know I have harped on about this, but it’s only because of how nonsensical it is. One of the major talking points for pretty much the majority of his Presidency is that Biden really isn’t really running things. A lot people believe Obama is pulling the strings. I can think of two instances off the top of my head in the last two weeks. One where Bill O’Reilly speaking to Glenn Beck after the debate, claimed that it was really Jill who was controlling things, and that she was in discussions with his campaign on what to do moving forward, and that he was just left to eat ice cream without having any ability to grasp what’s going on because he is that out of it. And the other, Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon on with Hannity claimed the one really running things was Hunter

Have you got all that? Are you still with me? Good. Now at the same time that Biden is eating his ice cream, not knowing what’s going on, the right are also claiming he is the one trying to be a dictator. He’s trying to lock up his political opponents, he’s in bed with China etc. When you start going on this tirade about him being a dictator, you immediately undercut your own argument about him not knowing what day it is. And vice verca. I hope I have dumbed it down enough for you to understand

I think that’s very far fetched, bordering on unfounded conspiracy. Don’t take the bait being thrown!

You can be displeased with the 2016 election results and not be a ‘sore loser’ - Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon can also have had and made attempts to skew public perception around his not being re-elected, legally challenging as was his right.

Both of these realities can and do co-exist.

I've heard this insane argument elsewhere. Just because the NSDAP has socialist in the title doesn't make it a left wing party. Nor does the use of workers imply any fondness for organised labour. Hitler made sure to purge any semblance of socialism from the party when he took control.

Hitler executed homosexuals, he was extremely patriarchial believing women had no role in public life, he destroyed art portraying anything remotely expressive or progressive, outlawed prostitution. These are all socially conservative and would be classed as traditonal- even for the time.

I dont believe I am conflating the two. They cant be separated in this case. He believed the reason Germans had moved so far from traditional values was because of intermixing races and moving from the purity of aryanism. His brand of racism was absolutely rooted in a twisted conservatism. Im aware Stalin utopia was horrendous, im far from the raging leftie you seem to think I am.

Words change in meaning over time. I dont think that is a radical take. Gay is used in an entirely different context to how it used to be understood. The terms left and right are changed because of the general ideologies that have been attached to them over time, mainly over the 20th century.

Anyway, im sure theres some middle ground somewhere. I think it is misleading to call Hitler left wing, but accept by some measures he is. By others he is not. Complex guy, not easy to pin down.

Purged Strasserists...he saw them as Marxist, not socialist. Hitler made a clear distinction in his writings between the two...you've oversimplified a very complicated and unique ideology the man had.

The Chinese state is the closest we have to it now. They call themselves communist, but they allow the people to own the means of production. The key distinction is the CCP can and will either take production for the state when and if required or enforce state production when and if required. Why? Socialise the gains of capitalism through taxes or production if required, but privatise the losses. This is directly from Hitler's playbook.

You still can't point to a policy that is "right wing". You have only pointed to purges which a cursory glance at a history book will make the same distinction of the group he targeted. He targeted the threat within his own party. Not the ideology.
