If you care to read the game thread before jumping in going off half cocked you will see I said plenty of times.
JLJ, Edwards, Lovett were crap, I also said Rankin, JLJ, Edwards and Lovett should never play 1st grade again, they are rubbish

Apologies, but i aint going through a whole game thread.

Cheers all good king sirro, and by the way we could have used Siro last night, a starting secondrow of Edwards and Lovett was as bad as our starting halves of Rankin and JLJ, we were lucky to only concede 36.

You spend half your time on here whipping Rankin, then talk up guys like Hoppa and Siro

You are an idiot, I didn't talk up Siro, I said he was better than Lovett and Edwards, and Hoppa has shown plenty since he came back from injury.
You obviously are blinded by your eagerness to try and show me up, get the hell away from me with your uneducated pot shots

If Tui arrives next week , would we be better off moving him straight to Fullback
Rankin to 5/8
Teddy to wing or Centre

Give the new guy time to settle in

Oh geez no, that's a shocking idea. Lolohea with no arms is still more effective than a fully fit Rankin (and I don't particularly rate Lolohea). Even though people on this forum may loathe Tedesco from a personal perspective (me included) he is our best fullback and should remain there. If Lolohea comes he'll be at 6.

Tui would not be fit enough to play fullback at the moment, so a big no from me

Teddy won't be here next year
Tui will be our Fullback next year
Rankin can play 5/8 and was ok last night in the halfs

Rankin was ok last night I must have watched a different game then, granted he was better than Moses he's a long way off being a NRL 5/8.

Tui is a project player, as a percentage of his ideal weight he is probably as high as Eastwood or worse. If he comes we will need to be very very very very very very patient.

Yep - I'm not sure what game you watched.

Apart from his dropped ball when playing FB I thought he was as good as at least 3 or 4 other NRL halves.

Not sure what you expected from a guy shoved into the team 24 hours before kick off and a guy that hasn't played in the halves for at least 2 years. You obviously expected Jonathan Thurston.

You people need to cut this guy some slack.

So 2 already bagging Rankin in this thread over tonight.

You guys watching the disgraceful performance of JLJ? Or you just eant to whip Rankin? Jordans gane as eifht half has been 100 times better than Moses'. His only mistake vame when at fullback. Yes it was a horrible mistake, but his game at right half has been one of our better performances tonight.

I bet ET gets many peoples MOM tonight. Joke.

Mate its killing me how many coaches keep stuffing up selections.

Honestly, does anyone with a brain think a backrow of Edwards, Lovett and Taylor could beat the broncos?

I guess only Cleary

Well as mentioned earlier in the week maybe Cleary is seeing what he has at his disposal..having just arrived it takes a bit of time and there is no better way to see this than game day. Once he has witnessed what us as suppoterers have seen over the last few seasons I am sure he will make arrangements to put feelers out for replacements this is only my opinion.

Maybe he is.

Bur seriously, any idiot can see a successful team is built on meatheads. For gods sake pick the meatheads. Look at saints….they finally put together a big pack and it doesnt even matter that there 2 best back are injured. But not us.....no...we have coach after a coach who cant see the bleeding obvious.

Wake up to yourself Cleary you idiot, or your career is over.

I would put my life on some simple team changes wins us games. Cleary is proving himself to have no idea like past coaches. Only an idiot picks Edward/Lovett backrow with ET at lock.

And the wheel turns. For some reason, every coah wjo has ever coached the Tigers has no idea. Reality is that our squad is ordinary and has been for years.

Coaches arent to blame. Salary cap constraints and are misguided youth policy are.

I agree and disagree. While i agree our squad is ordinary, i believe our coaches have no idea who to pick.

Its been proven that 3 big middle players and 2 good egde players do the job. Yet we pick 3 small inadequate backrowers…the only stupid team to do this. We commit suicide through selection. Its a joke.

Who would you select KS?

Ok i like the question.

With Lawrence pulling out my starting pack would have been

Woods
McIlwrick
Grant
Taylor
Edwards
Alioai

14.Felise
15.Sue
16.Liddle
17.MCK

Lawrence comes back in for Edwards next week.

Thats 3 consistent big middle players rotating, with two 80 minute edge players.

IMO opinion its logical because every other team does it. But we will persist with what fails.

Your spoton there. Remember when JT was coack early in the season? He had on the bench against the raiders monster pack/bench - Aloiao, Lovett, Liddle and edwards. So our bench was like 390kgs while the raiders was around 450-460\. As soon as i saw that i put 50$ on raiders to win by 30+. Coaches mistake was my windfall ?

Yep Aloiao would be great at lock with ET on right edge.
