Im already hard pressed to have Reynolds here, Hoppa and or eastwood would make me turn it in for a few years.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that Hoppa and Eastwood are a step backwoods
We just look desperate if we want players like them.
And while il admit that Reynolds has ability, I'm just wonder if he'll cost us as many games as he wins for us, a complete loose cannon

People Speak so Highly of him. I am hoping I am wrong about him.

I want people at MY club who love it as much as I do.

Hopoate would be decent as a centre. He's not a fullbacks rear end though, and the whole not playing Sunday thing is an issue. Yeah it may be a condition he might be willing to wave now, but what's to say he won't renegotiate once he's signed to omit Sundays again?

He came out and said he'll play on Sunday's. he's going well and only 24\. Good signing if we snag him

I know he has. What's to say he'll sign the contract saying he's happy to, and then decide to flip again? Seems like professional football has always played second fiddle to his religion.

Because not every millennial is of the Moses ilk. He played Sundays at Manly, and is willing to now as it is "in the best interests" of his employer. Obviously his faith is a big part of his life, but he's obviously willing to see the more immediate picture in regards to looking after his family. Absolutely no indication he would flip so no reason to suspect it.

I'm not saying he's nailed on to do it. Just seems like he takes his religion very seriously and could well change his mind later on down the track.

In any case I'll not worry about it, he's got to sign for that to even be a possibility.

What's to say he won't?

Heard a similar thing from someone that is usually spot on.. its not a matter of If Lolohea comes.. but when - maybe next game.. I also heard the money is about 1/5th of Tedesco's Roosters contract.

Don't know what you guys are talking about tbh… Hoppa has looked great recently and is no doubt an upgrade on what we have currently. He will play sundays, and is not a flashy player. He is a solid, defensive player and that is what we need at the moment. He is still only 25, remember how good he was when he was 19? He still has potential, plus he wouldn't be too expensive.

To whoever said we are taking a backwards step, I didn't know signing solid, experienced first graders was a backwards step. Hoppa and Reynolds are most definitely upgrades on Moses and Naiqama and there's no other way around it.

so assuming Teddy is on somewhere between 1-1.4 mil ? so anything from $250k-$300k seems a bit light on compared to the figures of $470k odd we were supposed to have offered.

Apparently that's the range yeah - looks a good buy
Add the fact that Moses and Renoylds is comparable and Matulino + Packer = Woods.. I think the Tigers have come out in front on the dealing from a Moneyball perspective.

pretty sure every number touted originally in papers is $200k over actuals

Wests Tigers are building up to be quite a competitive team for 2018 and I have no doubt that Lolohea will be a good investment especially by 2018 when he would have had half a season under his belt with Wests Tigers.
