Only the Tigers would get into a bidding war with a Reserve Grader…

If he goes to Cowboys, who will that squeeze out thats worth looking at?

agree - buy reserve graders get reserve grade results waste of money

You can't build a team exclusively by signing other people's first-grade players - you couldn't stay under the cap. There are lots of examples of players that were on the outer at a club for one reason or another who went on to be very good elsewhere, so saying all reserve-grade signings are rubbish is patently stupid. Especially when you're talking about someone like Lolohea, who basically everyone acknowledges is a first-grade talent who may be lacking in application. This isn't signing some career reggie who's never sniffed first grade, you know.

Here you go:
- Leilua (unwanted BY THE KNIGHTS for goodness' sake)
- Rapana (out of the game completely, signed via reserve grade)
- Tapau (not being used by the Bulldogs when the Tigers signed him)
- Austin (not being used by the Panthers when the Tigers signed him)
- Cheyse Blair (unwanted by Manly)
- Brenko Lee (not featuring for the Raiders)

This is literally off the top of my head. There must be dozens of them.

This was all based on a channel 7 (lol) sports reporter just putting a few click bait tweets out there to try make himself look important to his local queenslanders. Yes the Cowboys had always been interested but suddenly an injury cover for a month means he'll sign there for the next few years and they're favourites? Just telling locals what they want to hear so they watch/read what he has to say.

Again not the end of the world if we don't get him, but the Cowboys have JT, Morgan and Coote locked up for a little while yet so his positions are covered in the first team. And Feldt re-signing for 3 years also locks up a wing

Hopefully this was a dub report

Jonathan Thurston - Goes to show you never know where hidden talent lies.

I am not sold on Lolohea. Would like to know what we are paying him. Should consider Nicoll-Klokstad if available on similar money, and Stargroth Amean as a cheap depth signing.

I love it when fans say "I don't like player A, we should sign player B even though he may not be available and if he is I have no idea how much money he'd cost or player C who has never played first grade".

It's like me saying yeah I don't really like Toyotas so I'm going to get a Porsche or a magical flying unicorn.

Or when someone is outraged when we sign a reserve grader. Unfortunately we can't have 17 Tedesco's in the team. Plus every team signs low calibre talent because you have to with how the cap works.

I'd settle for 0ne.

Weidler reporting Foran just told team mates he won't be at the warriors next year, don't know if this will effect the Lolo decision

It is what it is

Is that you Aaron??

If the transaction is going to happen for this week it had better take place soon, team line-ups are due out soon.

?. Looks as though Lolohea will be a cowboy.

lol… The difference is Blake Ayshford is keeping this bloke out of NRL?!

Ok, straightforward question: do you think Ayshford is more talented than Lolohea?

Of course not… His coach thinks he is a lazy bum, a distraction to team goals and lacks the commitment to succeed at NRL level.
