Tuivasa-Sheck to the Warriors?

So apparently he's signed a three year deal with the Warriors, with Tomkins heading home.
Surely that would hurt our chances of getting Kenny-Dowall or Tupou?

Just read there's a junior sheck who scored 3 tries in the Holden cup. Roosters won 68-10 or something like that.

THE Roosters have been left reeling by the news that Roger Tuivasa-Sheck will leave the club at the end of 2015.

The New Zealand Herald is reporting that the 21-year old signature will be announced by the New Zealand Warriors later today on a three-year deal worth close to $800,000 a year and that Sam Tomkins will be granted a release.

Tomkins, who has spent the last two years in New Zealand after a stellar career with Wigan, has reportedly been homesick and will return to the northern hemisphere.

Tuivasa-Sheck had been earmarked as the long term replacement for Anthony Minichiello at the Roosters and had begun to show some of his prodigious talent over the last few weeks after taking on the fullback role on a full-time basis.

He was the Roosters best in their shock defeat to the Sharks last Sunday and became just the 13th player in NRL history to gain more than 300 metres in a single match.

great for rugby league
now probably - with this happening - the roosters should be on par with the rest of the comps salary cap except for the bulldogs who according to today's media will take the NRL on. Great. all we need.

Tough for Tomkins too, I get the feeling that he left a lot on the field. Came to the NRL to prove himself and it'd be hard to say that he did at this point.

Lol whatever, just sign the fish then.

But seriously Latrell Mitchell is probably better than RTS. He'll be incredible.

I assumed the reference was to Schecks younger brother who plays NYC for Roosters but yes Mitchell is very highly rated and is a tailor made replacement for RTS.

Depends how much the Roosters want Israel Folau

They don't seem to be too worried…
Decent player though, young and only going to improve.

Probably will kill it at the warriors.
Shame Tomkins is dipping on the game though, he was an exciting player to watch.

Poor old Roosters - my heart bleeds for them, having one of their talented up and comers snatched from right under their noses! I'm sure they're not used to this happening to them, but I'm also certain that they will somehow sign up some sort of superstar, as a ready made replacement, later in the year - probably end up with Falou, as Sabre has already mentioned :unamused:

These days nothing is signed till June , when it's registered with the NRL is that correct ?

Roosters have until then to Counter offer?

Probably replace him with Coote , Moylan or Tomkins

Roosters never lose out in these situations in the end

Tomkins is home sick , his moving back to Yorkshire . Is missing watching Leeds play

I'm Just talking Bollox happy

i thought the chooks were cap rorters????

they were paying RTS a couple hundred grand, and wanted to upgrade him to 400-500k. THATS how you manage a cap, play up and comers unders and sign them on longer contracts so they get better but youre paying them an average wage. just like fantasy.

they have a slight TPA advantage, but moreso because players want to play for good sides not basket cases like ourselves. but all those 'cap rorting' calls are simply bs

Who cares about "Tool in a wet check ",he will go to the Warriors and you won't hear or see a thing about him anymore…...another "do you remember that bloke on the wing for the chooks, what was his name ".....they come and go year in and year out...All I care about is the WTs and who we are going to sign next year or the year after...hopefully we have great youth who want to stay with us....
