noooooooooooooooooooooo

I'm with you Sabre. He deserves to be given the chance to get back into form after injuries have marred his past 2 seasons with us. People forget how good a player he can be.

As my daughter would OMFG . You guys are dreaming if you think he is going to find old form .

So we let an in form winger in Ryan go and we look at hanging on to an over the hill broken down hack - go figure.

The difference is Ryan wanted a three year contract whilst Tuquiri and Utai were each happy to accept a one year contract. If Ryan had accepted a one year contact he would still be with West Tigers.

Sorry I disagree totally. He doesnt deserve another chance. The guy is 32, played 1 good season + a few good games here and there (21 games total in 2 years). He is 32 years old, plus the Tigers finished 10th!

Bring through the new breed and not waste dollars on a chance that his body will hold together. We have already re-signed Utai which can be the 'senior' wing member for the squad. I am hoping to see Koro and Nofo given the chance to cement positions, not rely on a guy that plays once a month.

2 years… seriously Wests Tigers if you agree too that the Rugby League world will laugh there heads off at us.

Not according to the article - Lote wants 2 years - surely we are not that dumb.

All contract negotiations should be suspended until a new coach is named.

Not sure what the fact we finished 10th has to do with anything if you're talking about him not playing many games.

In Two minds about this ..can live with a one contract adds a bit of stability as long as Koro is on one wing and with some good luck Lote could have a Stella final season.

He did play 9 games so ultimately he contributed to the failed season. Would we have won more games with him being there each week? Would he have contributed more than Koro in the last 6 rounds?

Would we have even seen Koro in firsts if Lote hadnt have been injured? Knowing Sheens selections, I kinda doubt it!

Ryan HAD a 3 year contract, our CEO couldn't figure out the cap and actually get it signed though.

Although if Ryans to be believed, we apparently did get the contract on the table (within hours BTW) once we heard he was already committed to Sharks.

Absolutely confidence inspiring stuff from our front office isn't it…

Some of u r morons, he played with injury te past two seasons, when fresh he was as good under high ball and finisher as any winger in te comp. he will come good

Would you drink milk after it's use by date? just wondering…

I would like to know if Tuqiri has lost any speed. Compare his 40m/60m/100m times with 2010.
If his speed times are on par with when he started I would offer him the lowest NRL grade contract for **1 year** only. Tuqiri seems like a likeable, earnest player but these qualities alone do not help win games or premierships. Lote has been unlucky with injuries but he has been overpaid & in hindsight was a bad signing by the Tigers.

It is time for the Tigers to slam the door shut on the Sheens era which included paying 400k a year for a winger not wanted by rugby union.
