24\. My absolute favourite. So devo it's the final season.

I'm also a sucker for factual/reality programs like Bondi Rescue, Border Security, RPA, The Force etc.

I don't see what the attraction of two and a half men is …

Big Bang Theory – the worst half hour on television.. thoughts?

I think you are way off there mate.

The jokes are very intelligent, the characters are good, the homages are done very well.

They celebrate being nerds and you cant help but go along for the ride with them

Very clever show.

Maybe two and a half men is more your speed.

I hate both of those shows!! Not because of the show itself, so much, as the fact that hubby records them and watches hours of them at a time … :deadhorse:

I think The Event is ok so far, but it looks like a hybrid of Lost and 24 rolled into one. I'm not fussed on all the flashbacks at the moment, but I am interested to see which direction the show takes.

Modern Family is a good show to watch, and there are new series of NCIS and The Good Wife coming back in a few weeks.

Currently watching a British comedy called "The IT Crowd".

Very funny and very true for anyone who has worked in IT helpdesk.

I like The Amazing Race, you can't beat a watermelon exploding on somebody's face, ouch!

And Good News Week.

Not sure if it has been released over here yet but I got sent the first and second series of a new show from the team behind The Shield called Sons Of Anarchy. It tells the story of a californian outlaw motor cycle club. It is almost as well written as the Shield was.
The acting is good, the story arcs are very interesting and where I'm up to they are downright addictive.
Like The Shield, the protagonists are the bad guys and they are pretty bad-ass at that, yet you sympathise and root for them as their enemies are even worse. The coppers and FBI also blur the lines of right and wrong to get results.

It's an engaging show and I recommend it if you come across it.

Sons of Anarchy is on Fox showtime channel 403..Up to season 2 ep 11 or something …My young bloke loves it...

Agree Here - Great Show.

My wife reckons I'm like Roy..

Love the original boss

Pity they only release 6 episodes a season.

I miss SHINTARO….otherwise known as SAMAURI. About a Samauri who wanders around 19th century Japan , fighting evil " Cougar " or black ninja's. Somtimes with the help of the white or " ega" ninjas. Throwing star knives , swords , blinding dust , jumping backwards from the ground to top of buildings, crawling the underside of ceilings. Was dubbed into english and shown here from late sixtees till about 1976\. Some of the older guys on here would remember this show.

Are you a fan of Akira Kurosawa Tigerdazz?

Watching Studio 60 On the Sunset Strip on DVD at the moment. Written and directed by Sorkin of West Wing note and just as good in terms of dialogue and engaging storyline.

Sons of Anarchy is very good and of course Dexter is a must.

Two and a Half Men is everthing that is wrong with modern television for mine. Charlie Sheen and the guy who played Ducky in Pretty In Pink. Poorly written and so pendantic and predictable.

Comedy television reached it's zenith in the early 90's with The Late Show on ABC.
