Twal

Getting back to Twal. I agree with a lot of people. He really looks like a tough, no nonsense type of player. He runs the ball straight and hard, gains metres on every carry and makes lots of effective tackles without missing any. On top of that he looks confident and composed in everything he does. I can only see him improving and with more experience will begin to offload the ball, adding another dimension to his skill set.

I think Twal is already a quality first grade prop. He gets great metres and does the little things right. I personally don't care if he doesn't have an offload.

I think Twal is good, and will get better as his confidence grows. Can see him keeping a couple of bigger names out of the squad.

Marsters & Aloiai ran strong also! How'd this go…

8\. Packer
9\. Liddle
10\. Matulino
11\. Aloiai
12\. Taylor
13\. Eisenhuth

14\. Twal
15\. Grant
16\. Marsters
17\. Sue

So where is McQueen? Did we buy him for reserve grade?

Eisenhuth is not a lock. He will be the prop rotation next year.

Maybe not right away, but I think at some point you may see Matulino move to lock to accomodate Twal.

Love him. Great worker, doesn't shirk the tough stuff. Even his face & beard are formidable.

An off season under Ivan will be excellent for him.

At 21yo Twal has a massive future ahead of him. He'll only get bigger and should get better, if that's the case I hope we can hang onto him! Best defender we've had at that age.
