Twitter Hashtag #NRLWesPen

Hey guys,

Recently I and a few others have been trying to promote hashtag use on Twitter for NRL games. We started last week and the #NRLMelCan hashtag started trending 3rd in Australia. Last night was a major breakthrough with the #NRLCanCan Hashtag trending 4th **Worldwide**.

Tonights hashtag for the game is #NRLWesPen Use this when commenting about the game and lets get Trending!

what is the point of this aside from getting a high ranking?

Well I imagine it can tell you the score and how the game is going for those that cannot get to the game, tv or radio.

I curate all my news through Twitter these days.

It's politically loaded but for e.g. http://paper.li/senexx/news-blogs will take you to what I've dubbed The Senexx Sentinel. All articles on there are originally from Twitter.

Cant get into twitter…too hard to read.
I couldnt get into books either with foreign, hard to pronounce names...namely french...annoying.
