How would freeing up 750k that’s dead money be bad news.

My opinion is based on solid facts, not hearsay, things I know to be true, absolutely nothing to do with the DV charges and based on my own experience. I dont give a rats about your opinion of me, or my opinion of JR and I have never cared about your opinion.

I would prefer a captain and a vice captain. If we are still allowed to use that word. Although for some teams that title would need additional explanation.

The team was unbalanced with a significant portion of the cap sitting on the sidelines or in the lower grades. That looks like, to some extent, to be rectified for 2020. I'm with you as far as Brooks not being captain material yet. But whilst ever Benji is in the way he never will be. As exciting as he once was, Benji is probably the most over rated player in league history. He's been bog average since we last made the semis. Captaincy isn't his strong point. The odd freakish play is and they are very, very rare these days.

I guess we’ll see this year if you or I am correct. With a strong pack going forward I expect Brooks to have his best season so far.

I'd take Clearly and Reynolds any day over Benji as captains or halves for that matter.

Never saw him say that once. Clearly he’s a leader for the boys otherwise a coach like Madge wouldn’t just pick him.
