Two injuries - no bloody excuses!

Galloway's massive input to this side is ALWAYS noticed when he is out, it was obvious last season and I fear it will happen again. Just glad Bryce seems to have taken things up a gear this season, he has been very good.

What he said.

Hopefully Sheens keeps the changes simple, i.e. does not do what the Telegraph suggested yesterday.

Same negative posters are on red alert ready to pounce. Hehe….. The more things change the more they stay the same. Some times things around here get a little old.

I still feel we can win this. I do think though that the loss of Galloway and Ayshford is a loss on the grounds that you do want to keep your continuity in the side as much as possible. No matter how you look at it, the loss of players does break the dynamics that were there.

Though even in their absence there's still a strong side running out on saturday night and this new found depth will be tested to some extent.

I expect a good showing from the tigers and that the replacements will be adequate.

Re Gallant, I am sure he will play well, however if there is any team that will be aware of the threat he poses, it will be us.

Shutting down Gallant is not easy but we do a very good job of shutting down Slater as a general rule and Gallants support lines are more in line with Slater than Bowen.

The biggest thing is a good kick chase which we have had this season

PLS no fitzy until we have it wrapped up at 79 min….
Also, lets see how much time we can get out of Fifita and Moors
A Daniela/Brown side is a probability, that just looks so WEAK, i ca see Tonga ripping this combo apart.

This is where the coach comes into it. A good coach gets his undermanned team ready in time to put in a winning performance. Lets see is Sheens can coach us to a victory! Looking at the teams on paper, we are still miles ahead of NQld even without Galloway and Ayshord. Where Sheens chooses to play people will dictate whether we win or not. If we reshuffle the deck chairs in the backline we wont win. If we simply slot in a centre to replace a centre we are a good chance.

I think we will be fine. My worry is that we seem to hate playing in Townsville. Why do we always play them up there at the start of the season?

Your whisper could be on the money

I try to make sure I say as little as possible on the forum but this was from a good source.

We'll have to wait til kick off I guess.

Either way, the OP is right, hopefully we can do a job regardless of who runs out.

so much innuendo and conflicting stories, all i know is my info came from andrew leeds so thats why i still maintain that ayshford WONT play

yes some players in key postions may not be there. it happens to all teams.
don't give up.
might un-earth another good player who cements his spot in top 17\. 😛ray:
could be alot worse, eg look at broncos playing roster at the moment. :unamused:
