OK you admit GSP tapped to strikes from a LW for his title. He also got gifted a decision vs. Penn 1, and had to grease with vasoline from Phil Nurse to avoid the high guard in the second fight. NASC never penalised him, but the rules were forever changed so that it could never happen again, suspicious. The guy also admits that he believes he has been abducted by aliens... Supporting him is like supporting the Storm, just because they win doesnt make the shady business disappear.

You are right that Lesnar was very lucky to make it to the end of the first round against carwin. Tbh I had forgotten that. But still, he did make it to the bell without being knocked out (lucky) and by winning I think the refs non stoppage at the time was vindicated. Had the round been any longer he would've lost.
But then rounds are only 5 minutes, and punching yourself out is hardly justification for losing, is it? Fitness is a big factor in sport, and rarely a good reason for losing.
In any case, he beat who was there at the time, and then beat Mir after returning from illness and that is all he could do. He came up against a better man and lost. He himself admitted that.
I'm not saying BROCK was by any means the best ever. What I am saying is that I think you are being less than subjective about his ability as an mma fighter.

Saying "I was abducted by aliens" as a response for experiencing missing moments in your memory is a flippant and facetious remark; not to be taken literally!
Fact is it is an extremely common occurrence that is colloquially known as highway hypnosis: you know that feeling you get when you're driving and next thing your turnoff is there and you think "wow, I don't remember passing such and such turnoff?" Like you are operating on autopilot...
I respect and admire GSP. As mentioned by tiger logic, different people have affinities with different sports teams/athletes; I'm a GSP kinda guy and you're a Diaz.
