You can get illegal cigarettes at every tobacconist. I'm sure it's the same in the UK.
Its been around for decades everywhere.
If it.prevents one case of cancer its a good move...nothing to gain.from smoking.
Therell be.much more than.one though
The thing is this will prevent generations from starting smoking...non smokers wont go to the bother of getting chop chop

Look at where smoking is today, compared to 20-30 years ago. There was a time you could smoke in restaurants. Smokers are treated like pariahs now. It’s gotten more and more ostracised, which is a good thing. To think they could be banned completely in another 20-30 years isn’t beyond the realm of possibility.

We did but the current government reversed it. One of the current ministers is a tobacco lobbyist. Smoking is back and it's better and smellier than ever.

Drug users were once non-drug users....and drugs have always been illegal...don't see how this will do anything other than create a new crime to police.
Of all the things going wrong in the UK, how they found the time to come up with this nonsense to pursue is beyond me.

If we're saving lives, we should ban all alcohol and sugary foods...let's ban a hard day's work too while we're at it...people get sick from stress...you lefties will never learn
How about going all in and banning fatty foods, processed foods sugary drinks, where does it end. You have warned people made them aware of the risks why do this. It just creates black markets for criminal gangs.

I think.back to when i started in early high school.....it was all about being seen...and.apparently looking cool
