Under 20s State of Origin

Most of the strongest players from this age group have gone all the way through for NSW.

A few omissions that surprised me Jack Wighton and James Roberts seemed like certainties to me.

Evander Cummings shocked me as a selection (altho he is clearly talented)

NSW look stronger on paper, as we know, tho games are not won and lost on paper

Wighton is injured, along with Nathan Green from the Dragons.

Korbin has been killing it in NYC so if he is anything like his brother, we could see 2 brothers facing off in Origin one day!

Can't help but feel sorry for David Nofoaluma. He has been on fire for the Tigers NYC side this season and I'm surprised he was named on one of the wings. I also would have thought Kyle Lovett would be in the mix for a spot on the bench.

Yes David Nofoaluma has been playing well and yes he does do some really good things on the field but he still has a way to go. SOO selection goes further than just playing well, its about the complete athlete on and off the paddock, how much do they really 'want it' and how much hard work they are willing to put in to be worthy of a SOO selection. Nofoaluma has so much potential but he can be lazy at times and the game against the Bronco's exposed his weaknesses, or should I say laziness! So now looking at the selection list and who he is up against, yes you could say he's been unlucky but maybe he just needs more time refining his game and working on the little things.

Groat hasn't made metres, he always buckles and drops to the ground, no forward drive.
Number 10 Evans from roosters is a monster
Definitely should sign him up, drags 3 or 4 people for at least 10 metres every run

Groat hasn't had a lot of minutes. He hasn't done anything flash, but he hasn't missed many tackles or dropped any ball… The same can't be said for many of the other players.

Exciting finish, not a bad game at all, maybe a few too many lazy missed tackles and dropped balls but overall very entertaining.

Expect half the NSW team to be Qld reps by the end of their career.
