Not a lot of Clarke fans, im really hoping he is the next Bryce Gibbs lol

I like the looks of Clark. He's going to get good game time this year.

I like Clark as well , but can you take both he and Huth in the 17 ....

I think you can. Depends whether we are carrying.a utility or not (no not MCK, a second hooker/half.)

Thinking about it, I'd like the following

8. Twal
9. Whomever
10. Aloiai
11. Lucy
12. Garner
13. Huth

14. Mikaele
15. Musgrove
16. Clark
17. MCK

The Whomever is the issue and depending whom is changes the set up

R u Pissed ?

Nah mate ...playing around with staff rosters at home

Still working for Hooters ?

we renamed it Plodders

Hangers would’ve been more appropriate

Iv's one of our biggest customers

We take bookings of 17

Clark is a plodder imo

lol ..Probably quicker if you named our players who aren't plodders in your opinion..

Clark is crap .
Eisenhuth ain’t much better but he can play longer minutes than Aloiai

If Eisenhuth can just crack 100+ metres consistently maybe he comes off the bench he’s a great defender. Just doesn’t bend the line and doesn’t have an offload
They all benched the offload last year until the last few rounds. He’s got one. Not fantastic but it’s there

Do you really believe there is a hope in hell the Grant deal will go through

Word is he’s asked Melbourne for a release to hang with Geo !

Much better than hating on them

8 Twal

9 Walters

10 Aloiai

11 Lucy

12 Garner

13 Eisenhuth / ET

14 Mikaele

15 Musgrove

16 Clark

17 MCK

We need MCK as a utility because we don't have a 80 min hooker. Mbye or Benji will have to fill in and someone will need to slot into the backline

Aloiai reflects on pre-season changes in 2020

Wests Tigers forward Josh Aloiai says there's been some subtle changes to the pre-season this year under Coach Michael Maguire as the team looks to start the season on a positive note in their opening trial against Penrith this Saturday.

Aloiai, who won't feature alongside new recruits Adam Doueihi, Luciano Leilua, Billy Walters and Zane Musgrove in his side's opening hit out against Penrith, said that Maguire's second pre-season in charge had seen the side adopt a smarter approach with the Glenora Bears junior determined to lift his role within the squad.

"Everyone knows what Madge is like [with training] and we're really happy with all of the hard work we've put in so far," Aloiai enthused.

"The most exciting part is seeing how it transfers on to the field.

“It's a good chance now for boys that got selected in to the group playing this weekend to show all the things we've been working tirelessly on for months. We want to see it carried on to the field and we're excited to see it.

"For me, it's always going further and being stronger in pre-season — being a little bit smarter and continuing to build on everything you learn in the season," he said.

“I’m excited to play with our forward pack and all our combinations come together,

“For me, it’s learning the cycle of the game. I’ve been working with Madge a bit and he’s mentoring me on my role and how to do better in my role.

“He definitely spends a lot of time with you, even asking the younger ones in the team to try and help them improve as players and as people. He’s always checking in and letting you know how you can better do your role.”

I laugh at the title.
Eisenhuth is not underrated.
He's not rated at all.

Aloiai"“I’m excited to play with our forward pack and all our combinations come together.
Hope Luciano's balls skills is part of this.

I'm surprised Eisenhuth even likes Madge. Madge must hammer the lazy sloth at training. Watching him running at such a slow pace and mozying around the middle is quite frustrating.

Also..."

What is Aloiai's role in 2020?
Is "cycle of the game a clue"?- meaning coming on in stints

Even more surprising is Madge seems to like Eisenhuth..

I hope Aloiai stays injury free. He’s a player that thrives under Madge, played some fantastic games last year.

T cat I agree with you on the sloth theory I hope this guy and Taylor and McQueen don’t play First grade this year but injuries will see them play if these guys are in we will go backwards just a thought.

I dont mind eiso. He's just one of those guys you need in a squad. Wouldn't be on much coin and i think he offers what his pay grade would suggest. He improved a fair bit last season. Probably not important in the long term and definately replaceable, but he will be one of the cogs in the forward pack. Then there is Packer for a bit of perspective
