Update on Chris Lawrence

I don't think anyone truly knows when he will be back. It was such a serious injury that it wouldn't be surprising if he doesn't play again this year.

He is not even walking that well seen him on the concorse against Knights maybe finals time.

mate, you might have caught him on a cold wet night, sitting down for a long while, with a cramp…

As Troy said a week or two ago, it's a week by week injury and it's probably still too early to tell when his return will be.

he was running a few weeks ago so i would hope he will be back in about 4 weeks. heres hoping anyway. with a kid like him he wont take long to get back to top form.

We will have to be in a good position to do some damage in the final series before the club would even consider risking him in 2011\. My guess they will probably keep him on ice and give him a proper off season to prepare for 2012\. The kids to valuable to rush back

Very late in the season is my guess, sheensy said a couple of weeks ago he wasnt even sure abut this year. But if we are in the finals mix, he'll get a run round 24/25, even if he is underdone.

If is the case SC why did Lawrence say 5-6 weeks in his interview on Sunday Football Show a couple of weeks ago . Just seems strange to have such a big variance between timeframes thats all

He tweeted that he is stiff and sore thanks to the WestsTigers trainers,so he must be close, they wouldn't work him that hard if he was still a risk of hurting himself,so here is hoping both he and Lote are back ASAP.

I remember that, and was thinking the same thing - it's a roundabout piece of good news if the trainers are pushing him.

With Ayshford growing in leaps and bounds as well, our centres are going to be stellar - and with Lote back a bit after, look out final series….

Just hope Mckinnons Rubber band Hammies can hold out as well, and Utai bounces back without any hesitation.

3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Utai

Its pretty good, doncha think.

This would be a great set of backs.

Training with the team today warm up /drills etc so is well on the way back , the boys look in good spirits.

Just imagine if he sauntered out with a number 20 on his back to take on Melbourne - the leichhardt crowd would be delirious!

remember lads, this is chris "broken jaw out for six weeks, but hey im back in three" Lawrence we are talking about here.
