Updated Membership Numbers

We always struggle with numbers due to three grounds imo

The club are aware I think many of the fanbase - the main part only travel to one maybe two grounds only….I think we'd do worse if we didnt have options.....Ive only purchased mbrshp for a ground these last two years

It will be interesting to see Stains numbers this year, theyve usually been pretty good I think....after a poor season however????

Souths & Dogs to continue to power on

anyone know..or have a guess at the average membership value..ie $100/$200/$300 or what the revenue from purely revenue sales was lasy year?

Another update

@gcmayer: @Wests_Tigers membership churning through renewals at a good pace. Cracked 4200 members tonight with plenty to process. 5000 by Dec 1? Easy!

Also you'd want to see a breakdown of those numbers. They play in Perth so no doubt they sell a few packages based on that one game. Manly are doing the same for the Gosford game. It's a nice way to bump up your membership sales. Personally I'd like to see us make some arrangement with the Broncos to market a membership around the game up there. I realise it is a Broncos home game and the finances could be a bit tricky but I'm sure there would a nice number of Qld based fans who might take that option. I know some clubs (possibly us) have an out of town package with the prospect of getting into an away game but I'm talking something specifically targeted to Qlders with some pre and post game functions thrown in.

We do the same BS rorting too
Rd 1 LO last year.
"The only guarantee to get a seat in Rd 1 is to become a member" ….what crap!!!
And again when the pretty blue seats went in to LO....the jungle ...etc

4,680 - Wests Tigers website now has a counter

I like the idea of a counter for anyone interested in keeping a tab on how our membership #'s are coming along.

Good to have the counter… only if they actually update it. Still showing 4680 today.

Yes, glad to see they are updating it, even if only not every day. Up to 4795 this morning.

Love your thinking Yoss… Realising we are Commercial Brand in a National Competition can have many greater Financial Benifits to the Club, rather having a closed mind-set that we are are Sydney Team!

I know a great place they could hold these functions

In terms of potential membership sales we are very much a sydney team.

Which is fine but it doesn't mean you ignore other potential ways to increase your numbers and support base. Imagine a properly organised function somewhere near Lang Park and then marching as a group down to the ground! It'd be awesome for the Qld-based fans of which there are quite a few and would probably encourage some fans up there to get along to our games and take out a membership.
