Wests Tigers do not play more than three games at any venue this year - they play home games at Campbelltown, Leichhardt, Homebush, Parramatta, Brisbane, Tamworth and Hamilton in New Zealand. All up, they visit 17 different grounds for 24 games. Zero Tackle.
Business is looking good off the field in this non altruistic economical climate we find ourselves in. Advantageous - maybe.
Disadvantages - less referree bias - that is calls against the home team due to crowd noise/influence. No cauldron to call home - no familiar field. Different prices of hot dogs/ meat pies and beer at every different field. Lack of uniformity.

I.e. weak leadership
Moreso putting money before on field success. Which is the definition of stupid, good onfield results will bring the cash rolling in for the club anyhow. The NZ home game of ours that would have been extremely winnable in Sydney is now close to a guaranteed loss over there IMO. Games like that can be the difference between finals and missing out yet again.

As far as I'm aware, the club intends to operate out of Campbelltown for nearly all of its games next season. with Leichhardt up in the air and the Commbank contract coming to a close, the club thinks its time to invest itself solely into the area.

if Leichhardt can be fixed then I assume and hope that it will have its usual three games, with potential for a game in Brisbane and a game in Tamworth, although I hope we don't worry and just play those two out at Campbelltown.

Yeah, let’s not forget the impact of the Women’s World Cup this year, in relation to setting fixtures.
From what I have read there is a plan to go back to our roots so will have to wait until next season.
As far as food, maybe they could introduce an NRL food card so prices remain uniform irrespective of what ground you’re at.

I have no problem with the NZ game as they sacrificed during Covid
But would be nice to get down to 2 at most
Its not the Tigers job to be Mother Teresa, we came last last year and we should only care about ourselves. Let the NRL look after NZ or the other 'salary cap/sombrero' clubs can go and play their games in NZ and cuddle the precious warriors. Tigers first policy

Its ridiculous to think the club has made a decision that its more valuable to play with virtually no home game advantage and finish last place than it is to play all home games at Campbelltown/Leichhardt which obviously becomes an advantage to play at your home ground and helps to win games especially a club that needs all the help it can get.

They think its better value to play all around the planet and drop games than to win at your home ground and become a top team. Pascoe the flog knows west tigers fans are suckers and will buy the merch anyway. #stockholmsyndrome

That’s the point. It’s simple mathematics in sport. You have a statistical advantage if you
A) play at home
B) have a genuine home

❌❌

I don't know about that. I too would like one home, or go back to our six and six at CSS and LO, but you have a statistical advantage if you are:

A.> Good enough to win at home
B.> Good enough to win away
