Vagabonds of the NRL. Nomads.

Wests Tigers do not play more than three games at any venue this year - they play home games at Campbelltown, Leichhardt, Homebush, Parramatta, Brisbane, Tamworth and Hamilton in New Zealand. All up, they visit 17 different grounds for 24 games. Zero Tackle.
Business is looking good off the field in this non altruistic economical climate we find ourselves in. Advantageous - maybe.
Disadvantages - less referree bias - that is calls against the home team due to crowd noise/influence. No cauldron to call home - no familiar field. Different prices of hot dogs/ meat pies and beer at every different field. Lack of uniformity.
This is totally INSANE!

look people criticise Pascoe. IMHO I actually think he is doing a good job, except for this!

You don't go flying the team to Brisbane. We need 1 rural base, if it is Tamworth so be it.
No we don't go to Parramatta and kiss Jarryd/Walsh/Sterlo/Cronin/whomever they have there.

Its ridiculous to think the club has made a decision that its more valuable to play with virtually no home game advantage and finish last place than it is to play all home games at Campbelltown/Leichhardt which obviously becomes an advantage to play at your home ground and helps to win games especially a club that needs all the help it can get.

They think its better value to play all around the planet and drop games than to win at your home ground and become a top team. Pascoe the flog knows west tigers fans are suckers and will buy the merch anyway. #stockholmsyndrome
The club has already stated a number of times it is returning the majority of games to CSS and LO

Pretty sure the brisbane game is Magic Round where all teams play in brisbane so half the teams will have their 'home' game there including Brisbane.

Like most have said, lets just win anywhere.

2028 or 2038?

2024, would have happened this year if it wasn't for the FIFA World Cup.

The club’s vision is to secure long-term deals with both Campbelltown City Council and Inner West Council, which will see home games played at Wests Tigers’ spiritual and traditional grounds, namely Campbelltown Sports Stadium and Leichhardt Oval.

The official fluff article you posted says nothing about 2024 rather they "vision" it for the future. Kind of like Marina Go in 2015 saying the Tigers would be a top 4 side by 2017.

Ill believe it when I see it.

We really need our own Fortress ... don't care if opposition teams go Shit ...Tigers at Timbuktoo ...but as long as opposition teams want to get out of our dressing room the minute the game is finished with their tails firmly between their legs ...we will all be happy

And just as important ....opposing coach and captain doing their presser ...while the Mighty Tigs sing their team song in the background......Priceless
