I'm amazed so many write him off as a fullback. He's had what 2 games there at a time where his form is naturally a little down? A little quick to write off such a talent IMO. Not saying I'm convinced he could be star fullback, just saying it's way to early to determine that he cant.

One of my favourite players, so I hope we get him. Don't care if he plays 1, 2 or 4

29 starts at FB in 87 Games..

Really? I'm surprised at that. Cant recall him starting at fullback often at all. Must have played a fee at 1 early in his first grade career when he was a gun fullback in the lower grades making the transition to NRL.

2017 spent the majority of the Year in #1..got a 3min highlight vid out of it..

He was fullback almost all of last year.

I would love Holmes, but there's a reason they bought 2 fullbacks in the off-season.

Whilst a very good Winger, his desire needs to be Team related.

Attitude would be my key recruitment criteria, we all know he can play as an individual.

I agree he hasnt set the world on fire at fb however at the start of the season either had Thompson. Cleary seems to get the best out of most players. Plenty of potential and speed. Lets hope it happens and the injury to Dugan doesnt delay it til next year.

To be honest I don't think the Sharks gave him a long enough shot at the role Geo

It would depend on what he wants money wise , is he prepared to take winger money until he can prove whether he is a good fullback prospect long term

It would depend on what he wants money wise , is he prepared to take winger money until he can prove whether he is a good fullback prospect long term

We were having the same talks about tui. Its simple if holmes doesnt perform he wont be playing fb. We desperately need a playmaking fb and i think holmes provides that.

I think this a really valid point and also not forgetting that Cleary was a fullback and we have arguably one of the best fullbacks to have ever played for us in Hidgo back at the club.

I think he is a gun and would love to sign him.
