VALUE FOR MONEY OR CHEATING ???????

Are you suggesting that you think we have spent well under the cap limits Smeg ??

The squad was strong enough last year to be just about everyone's pick for the premiership. Not like we have a terrible squad.

Id say they have recently bumped up a heap of kids that look to be very talented.

I think we have done a reasonable job.

The roosters were breached for not providing details of SBWs deal, not because they went over.
He had a handshake deal- suss yet again - because his agent scumbag Nasser isnt NRL accredited - suss again but its how it is.
Hes recently shaken hands apparently on a second year…it was always the intention for 2 years but they went with one initially to get it thru the audit - simplify it all.

I never knew nor heard about the Roosters being breached for the SBW deal for 2013\. I just can't fathom how they would be able to pay him unders this year on the "hope/wish" that he will honour a handshake deal for 2014 and be on a backloaded contract in that occurence (TBH he ain't the most honourable or trustworthy bloke to begin with). Surely the NRL would need a signed official contract before they would even look at this proposal?…..then again it is the Roosters we are talking about.
The whole thing seems very very flimsy to me

His whole handshake deal nonsense is purely PR on his part, as was his spiel about giving up half hiw pay package to bring Quade Cooper to the Roosters (which was never going to happen). He has a reputation for being disloyal and selfish and this is all about cleansing his name again and making people see him as a good bloke.

Off course PR isn't very effective if it is as transparent as a glass window. But hey, I guess Sonny is laughing all the way to the bank.

Why have the Tigers got so many players off contract next year. Were alot of contract back loaded, or did the club not plan it out well at all. Should have staggered a couple of contracts.

You don't have to guy great players, you buy prospects and make them into great players, just like the Storm do. Most of the squad are nobodies, but they are well trained and drilled. Tigers need to sign up all the young talent coming through to prevent other clubs cherry picking the hard work, time and money the club has invested in them.

Wake up management….....PLease!!!!

One other thing, people are willing to take a smaller pay if the club is going places, succesfully managed, great enviroment, great stratergies and the possibility of a premiership. We need to consider these points. Why would someone want to come to our club????
