the injuries are what they are. I think the issue that is getting most a bit agitated is that the club is not managing the information flow on these injuries at all well. A couple of weeks ago the press was reporting everyone but Moltzen was available for selection (dont let the facts get in the way of a good story!) - there was no correction from the club. Recent reports have Gavet a week or two away - now its back to the drawing board whatever that means! And out of virtually nowhere Patterson is out for most of the rest of the season. It shouldnt be hard to have an accurate weekly update of the squad's condition on the website.

Yeah , I agree everybody's pissed with the lack of info the club provides regarding injuries .. Compared to last years injury toll , missing Gavet , Patterson & resting up Fulton due to repeated head knocks isn't to bad really .
Oh …. & MOLTZEN

If Patterson gets back in three months with ruptured tendons in his finger he's doing well .
I ruptured a tendon in my finger jumping over a six foot chain link fence years ago . The pain is friggin horrific

Hobbo, being caught with stolen goods after getting your finger caught in a 'six foot chain link fence' doesn't set you up for a fast recovery.

I hear prison isn't the best environment to look after your finger.

They said on the injury report that Gavet twinged it again at training on Wednesday. And that Pattersons injury is always long-term and is looking at three months.

Again, lack of communication from the club. To tell us his hand/finger is injured and that's it to he's out for 3months??

i remember reading somewhere that patterson was OK to play last week but he was left out as a precaution. idk if it's true though.

looked at the vellbex injury report. gavet was a grade 2… you expect at least around 8 weeks with that and if he aggravated it at training then it's gonna take a while as well.
