Very Underated

Kev Naquima?

Your thoughts any others???

For me Naquima has played exceptional to start the season making a lot of breaks and looking very dangerous my favourite buy last year! Hasn't really been as recognised as he should be

Absolutely right Teddy. He might be short in stature, but he's strong and all heart. Love him.
Was so happy when he signed with our club.

People seem to love Simona on here.

DOn't get me wrong he is good, but I feel he is over hyped for what he actually does on the field.

Kevin Nquiama has been excellent in the centres. He was a very dangerous running and passing game.

Maybe he is getting better ball but for me is more dangerous player then Simona at present.

Kev has definitely fit in much better in the centres than on the wing.

I suspect getting good ball from Moses has a lot to do with why you might feel he's better than Simona currently?

I think once Brooks finds his groove we'll start to see Simona shine. I still rate him as a better player.

He is a far more complete centre than Kev as he is also the far better defender.

Kev will be a beast when he gets his defence right.

During the call on Fox, one of the commentators commented on our lack of depth in the backline and how we were playing a winger in the centre's. Well if it look like a centre, plays like a centre, it is most likely a centre.

It's been great watching him play this year.

he's been near perfect in terms of what would've been expected of him

don't think he's missed a game since coming here. he killed it on the wing so much that noffa had to be fitted into centres when he came back.

he has pulled off miraculous plays when required and done the dirty yards when required. played busted at the start of the year too coz we had no depth.

probably not our best signing ever, but i'd gladly take 10 signings like naiqamas over a blair/ellis.

Love Kev - good to have others on board.

Agree with Blair but you are so far off the mark with Ellis it ain't funny.

Better than Ellis? Did I miss something?

Id go so far as to see Ellis is one of the best ever imports to the NRL, and in our top ten players in the joint venture.

i meant in terms of big money. i'd rather 10 small signings like naiqama than one big signing like ellis/blair

He has been very good. I wouldn't say perfect without your qualification re expectation. He was a bit sketchy under the high ball last year. I much prefer him in the centres for that reason. Don't want him taking too many bombs any time soon.

Yeah Brandy bought up our lack of outside backs a couple of times, also mentioned Rankin being a half on the wing. Always seems to have digs at the tigers, probably why i can't stand him.

Good thread. Kev certainly seems to make good choices when he is in space, that is what I like the most. Even last night he went hard wide for his try, but cut back through the cover to set up Tedesco's first.

One of the better examples I've ever seen of a long-term reserve grader coming good at a more mature age - the dude is 27.

I think he had improved dramatically since the start of last year. He was an OK winger then. Now he is a great centre. He totally outplayed Matai last night and has done similar to other decent centre.
