Video game consoles & games

My missus bought stepson an add on game and her card details were stored on the Ps4 game store.... The little bastard later on racked up almost $500 in unauthorised purchases
Play station coould see it was unusual activity and refunded after a lot of tooing and froing... Advised on parental controls and said wouldn't refund a 2nd time

I'm keen to get Forza 5 but wouldn't mind upgrading my Xbox to the latest version and take advantage of the improved graphics and processing power. See how things go for Christmas...

I'm not much of a gamer, but I've been playing Rocket League for a good while now, embarrassing amount of hours clocked probably.

Steep learning curve, but real good fun.

Other than that my gaming is limited to the FIFA games.

I reckon it took me 100 hours to get decent at Rocket League. I still can't do aerial control.

Yah some of the stuff I've watched just looks impossible to me haha.

Best I can do is some wall-play, following the ball off the wall to the goal - but can't control the ball the whole way through.

At this stage no

Everything ive heard so far has been quite bad, plus my pc will fail to run it ?

Need a ssd first.

Have a gander at Xbox Cloud Streaming and Nvidia GeForce Now if you havnt yet. $25 or so a month and pretty much removes the need for a high end PC or console.

I finished Narita Boy on PS4 a few weeks ago, pretty fun, not super long; great styling and an indie game. Before that I played through Hitman 2 (including the Hitman 1 levels) for about 2 months on and off.

I tend to take a few weeks break between playing games, not for any particular reason other than I have 3 kids and it sometimes takes time to sit down and get into a new game.

Next I have been thinking about Shadow of War, as I played Shadow of Mordor a few years ago and it was very good.

Ghosts of tsushima is very good.
Great story, design and game play.
Assassin's creed valhalla was also pretty enjoyable and I haven't played any of that franchise before

Yeah not too dissimilar myself.
Though I play console and will need to upgrade consoles to play the full experience.
Check out JackFrags new vid from yesterday on YT if your interested - it was about some of the issues that have been raised - DICE have resolved quite a few of them.

I love the Assassins creed games

What are the chances that not only do you guys enjoy ranting and raving about the Tigers like I, that some of you are gamers as well.
Someone mentioned Assassins Creed. Well I’ve played all up until Odyssey and I can’t go past it. Before that however bought the old GTA 5 and gave that a good whirl.
But all time favourites are the Uncharted and the Tomb Raider series. Bit of a common theme with adventure action 3rd player view games. Online action I’m not as big on.

I have Tsushima on disc but I hesitated to start because honestly I want to play it on PS5 and I can't get my mitts on one. Same reason I didn't start God of War yet, because I'd rather play it on the best system possible.

Literally can't find a PS5 anywhere, but during lockdown I didn't bother to ring around any stores without being able to collect.

Xbox Series X I rang the local EB Games November 2020 and they had one spare if I went and got it that day.

I played the arse out of AC Origins last year, very good, so I'm going to wait longer to start another AC game.
