Vidot being courted by Tigers and Sharks.

We don't need a need a center or winger but if he can play fullback I say bring him on

I'm pretty sure he fits in anywhere in the back five. **Strikes me as a confidence player who is easily overwhelmed when his team is being beaten back**. Was quite impressive in 2010 I thought.

Wouldn't sneeze at this signature, but I'd take him on as a flyer.

Would be a comfortable fit in the current team attitude in that case

Well have you seen his form for Canberra? Has been less than inspiring for them also.

Vidot was dropped to QLD Cup for the Raiders, with an eye to giving him 2-3 weeks there to just get some confidence back. He then got injured and may be back next weekend. His dropping was an absolute blunder by David Furner.

As for his future, he stated last week that the only reason he'd leave is if he was unhappy and this is yet to be the case. There have been a few rumours that a number of clubs want him but he desires in remaining in Canberra. I think he is a bit annoyed at the decision of moving him to the left instead of persisting with him on the right where he is much more effective. Joel Thompson is currently occupying the Right centre position, but I believe he may be moving into the second row next year to accommodate Vidot.

Vidot is a weapon, love that kid. I'd love to have him at our club, he can certainly find the try line. It's hard to say he is a confidence player when Canberra are a confidence team. You can see with Inglis or many other Melbourne exports that the culture of a club can influence how we perceive the players attitude.

As Ayshford is going to the lock forward position then the combination of Lawrence and Vidot would be ok.

I thought the clubs new ''direction'' was size in the forwards.

I'd prefer someone a bit bigger than Vidot tbh…good in the clear tho

Vidot is a very talented kid with a massive future, a very dominate player in under age footy and was named in the QLD extended team this year.
He would be a good signing. Once again would be surprised if we get him

Personally think most wingers are a dime a dozen There are some very good ones out their ,but most are samo samo Vidot is no better or worse tha Beau and at least you know Beau wants to be here

Ayshford at centre has been one of the highlights this year - I wouldn't be rushing to move him to the forwards.

Speak to Sheens about it.

I think he would be a good signing , is a genuine right winger so would be outside Ayshford next year. He is 100kg so a big strong lad , scores a lot of tries and breaks the line ,good under the highball - I think the wingers have been an area where we have really struggled this year especially with Lote and Utai out . Someone mentioned wingers are a dime a dozen but that ridiculous they are in a key position where mistakes mean tries given away and missed tries, for mine they are often the difference between winning and loosing.

Wingers need 3 main skills for mine - ability to take a good first hit up which Lote and Utai have but Brown and Ryan don't. The speed and strength to take advantage of an opportunity - Lote has, Utai has the stregth not the speed , Beau has neither and either does Brown and 3rdly be good at taking kicks mainly high balls - Lote has this as does Brown but the other 2 struggle a great deal.

So we have 1 winger Lote, with 2 others in brown and utai that have strengths and wekanesses and Beau who has passion . Utai we managed to cover his struggles under the high ball and speed issues so would be my second choice, Browns skills make him a fullback more then a winger

I like the kid, but the way Beau and Utai are playing, I dont see a need for him, just hope Shifty has a plan for the fullback position. SHIFTYYYY SHEEEENNZIE

Thank God he didn't end up here His defence isn't good and he is a fair weather player Only shows up when you are winning comfortably
