Vomit inducing coverage

I think Monday night took the cake as vomit-inducing coverage.

It was hard to seperate CB the vomit inducing coverage ,or our vomit inducing performance

I don't think I have laughed so hard at stages since the Souths debacle ( as were the WT's supporters with me ) We were at one stage nominating what tackle we would turn the ball over , who would score for Newcastle in the next set and thank God we didn't decide to skull for every error we made as one at the table suggested before kick off

I reckon the hospital would still be pumping our stomach's had we taken that option up

Nine and Fox Sports need some new pundits.. Deadset people like Freddy, Lockyer and Gasnier make the coverage look amateur.. Compare ours to ones that do the EPL for example - there is a massive difference.

Watch this video of Gary Nevilles analysis of a soccer game.

Then watch Gasnier's attempt on doing something similar on Sterlo (I think).. If anyone Vossy would do a better job to be honest

The way Gus insists on having the last word right before kick-off. Use to just happen before Origin, now its happening before club games. His ego know's no bounds. He's the guy who put the air in the football, if you don't believe it just ask him

What is the deal with channel nine's score graphic of having the home team on the RIGHT side of the screen? For as long as I've been following sports in Australia the home team is always posted first, so that would be either on top when they are displayed in the corner with one on top of the other, or on the left if displayed on either side of the screen.

In both the Roosters-Rabbits game and Eels-Bulldogs game they had the home teams displayed on the right side of the screen. Someone will have to tell me if they did the same thing last Friday and on Sunday 'cause I didn't watch those games.

It stinks of channel nine trying to Americanise the game. Anyone who follows American sports knows that they do the opposite, which is listing the home team second, as in New York @ Miami.

I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure they match the team name on the score graphic on the same side of the field the team is defending.

I think you're right Fraze, I'm pretty sure I noticed this in the Bunnies/Cocks game.

If top line players and coaches spoke about rugby league the same way they speak among themselves in commentary most fans would have no idea

They really do dumb it down for many fans

The players use completely different vocabulary when talking about many of the different lines they run during moves and the different variations of those moves and where , what and who the moves are aimed at

So they swapped it around at the start of the 2nd half?

This seems to imply that they don't trust the audience to know which team is which. :crazy
