Shocking selections. How can you say Mavrik Geyer should start over Seyfarth? We all saw him win us the game on Saturday. Don't know what Benji is thinking, perhaps he has insomnia? There can't be any other reason for this. Insomnia is known to distort your reality if it persists for long enough. Hopefully he gets better, because I know that he knows that everyone knows Seyfarth should be in the starting second row position. Even when Samuela comes back he will have to make his way through the bench, and I can't see him unseating the Red King of Leichhardt.

Next 4 weeks we have Penrith, Titans, Dolphins & Knights. If we can win 2/4 of those games I will be happy.

The key to winning has to be our defence.

The Dogs win a few weeks ago was built on suffocating the ruck, bashing their middles and limiting Cleary's kicking game and second play options.

Hopefully Jarome turns up, because last year he was very average in both our losses. He seems to turn to butter against his old club.

I guess if Benji was going to give Mavrik a run it had to be this week against his old club. Worked wonders for Jeral last week.

Mavrik Geyer was one of the better players in state cup last week, probably his best game this year , i think he will be a good in for us all things considered.

Just reading on Instagram that Bula being given up to game time to see if he can play. I think if he’s got a problem why risk it in a game like this. IMO better to put him in ice for another week.

But Alex never plays as well when he starts, been proven time and time again. That’s why he’s on the bench.

All I ask is that they fight hard. This means that they employ a fast defensive line, high completion rate and a smart kicking game. Hopefully they can frustrate a Penrith side who could be a little flat after the battle against the Warriors. I'll be happy if they get within 20.
