Wade Mckinnon leaves Hull to return home

We won 3/4 of our games while he was in the team. Hull have been in great form and only lost 1 game with him in the team. If he is fit I'd say yes for the rest of this season.

That's no right. We won 6/12 with McKinnon in the side in 2011\. His last three games were all losses (against Melbourne, Canterbury, & Parramatta) where he had absolute shockers. He was dropped for Moltzen and the side went from having lost 3 in a row to go on and win 9 in a row.

Trust me, McKinnon is not up to NRL standard any more.

2010 Played 6 Won 5 lost 1 = 83.33%
2011 Played 16 Won 10 lost 6 = 62.50%

Overall winning % 72.9 close enough to 3/4\. He wasn't fit. If Wade is fit now he would be better than anyone else we have at fullback. If he was fit last year we would have won the game final against the Warriors. Wade on 1 leg is a better fullback than Moltzen on 2.

No thanks memories of his last games with us and his injuries are enough to steer away from him for me.

I think people are looking at it completely wrong.

Moltzen is a SHOCKER at fullback, he's far from one. McKinnon doesn't set the world on fire but he's safe and experienced and MOST IMPORTANTLY he'd be a bargain for sure.

He isn't great, but he's a good stop-gap for us right now.

I posed the question a few weeks back after watching Wade have a very good game in the derby against Hull KR and asked the forum members who we missed most, Wade or Peter Gentle, most went for Steve Folkes but I didn't think that Folkes was as important a contibution over the last 2 seasons as McKinnon & Gentle!.

Has a problem with discipline and makes a lot of unforced errors … It's a no for me.

I was trying to think of why he left…and now I remember all his fumbles. Only now that everyone despises Moltzen that they consider him decent.

I love the guys passion and ability to support general play, but the reality is his hamstrings have retired early but the rest of his body doesn't know it yet. He has lost too much speed due to his dodgy hammies. Best to call it a day Wade.

2011 - Played 4 off the bench. Started 12 lost 6 won 6\. He was hopeless regardless. Now he'd be even worse. Moltzen is playing like crap at the moment but is still a far better option than a washed up McKinnon.

If McKinnon hadn't been drppoed when we was last year we probably would not have gone on to play in finals, so saying we would not have lost to the Warriors in that game is ridiculous.
