Wade McKinnon - Success or Flop?

It annoys me when people seem to think players have a say in their injuries.
I can tell you no player wants to be injured, some injuries are frustrating and re-curring.

He's been OK, weve had much worse.

We were right to sign him, it was not Sheens nor Wades fault he started breaking down with his hammys. There is only so much testing you can do prior to signing a player, hindsight is 20/20 but it wouldn't be fair to label him a flop.

Overall he never reached the consistency required but it wasn't for a lack of trying. His last few games were pretty bad, time to get the body right and prepare for the cold winter of England.

My sentiments exactly LaT.

Well said.

He was a success up until about two months ago.

His first part of the season was pretty good. He only started having shockers in the past six weeks or so.

We needed a fullback and he was available, it was hardly a poor signing.

Like most at the time ,I thought we had a good signing with Mck but Injury has taken away any chance for him to gain full match fitness . With his limited gametime their has been patches of good form, but on a whole I would say he has been a FLOP.

Came to the Club with a history of hamstring problems and continues to have hamstring problems. Cheap or not, an unintelligent signing..

we got reasonable value for money, we go him cheap, due to the fact his body was on its last legs, i reckon they prob factored that in when we got him.

Cheap it was for literally nothing bar match payments Warriors paid his contract for whole season

I think he was a reasonable signing. A specialist fullback was somewhat a requirement. However he hasn't had the consistency you want from a FG fullback, let alone an experienced one. Injuries have played their part in this. I wouldn't call his stay at the Tigers a success. Due to not taking his opportunity given, you could probably call it a flop, or maybe a choke.
