There won’t be a new Qld team in 2022. I feel like it will Brisbane or nothing. Kevvie to be his assistant. I feel like Bennett might have pulled a sneaky on Souths with Reynolds for this reason. If he doesn’t coach though, it will be the first year he hasn’t coached since 1986. Insane.

We have a continuing rebuild after 1 premiership and a finals series. Bennett couldn't do us any worse bro

Sounds totally made up but no-one on this forum would be surprised at Rothfield making up a story to fill the space.

Why is it made up, Madge arrived saying the team was good enough to make the 8, just need to fix the defence.
3 seasons in, we have not made the 8, and this year with severely poor teams 7 and 8, we are still no closer to making it.
Add to that our defence has gone from averaging 20 points a game when Madge arrived, to now 30 points a game.
Coupled with not being able to land a quality player, poor team selections, talk of accountability, but selectively applying it.
The side not being ready to play on multiple occasions in the last 2 seasons, conceding 116 points in their last 2 games, he should have already been sacked

I saw Bennett interviewed this year, he said "I agreed to coach Wests Tigers, but told them I wanted to honour my Bronco's contract first. If they(Bronco's) had been honest with me, I would be coaching the Tigers now"

He sure could do worse, the state he left Newcastle in was worse than we've ever had it - didn't they go on to get 3 consecutive wooden spoons or something?

And his coaching of the England team was embarrassing and unprofessional.
