3 backs on the bench? Are we sure Sheens isn't coaching this team

To be fair NZW backs are about the same size as normal forwards

No Mateo is a positive. He always causes us grief. Their bench looks a little light on compared to previous encounters.

I was actually hoping to see him play. I'm confident we can limit his offloads and without them he is nothing.

They have talent all over the park including the bench. Tough game for sure. Maybe touch footy in the final 20

get up and in the faces of the halves and limit, shut them down as much as you can.
this will be another good test for wests-tigers pack.
if they can " handle" the warriors pack, like they did with souths, then another win will be achieved.

It's hard to get up in Johnson's face when he is so light on his feet. One minute you think you've got him. Nek minute he's away

Eels swarmed their halves and FB and that shut the game out completely. Hurrell came on up in the middle in the weekend for about 30mins, so doesn't really count as a back on the bench if they are planning on playing him like that, plus he's the size of a forward anyway.

They keep banging on about the size of the Warriors, but I wouldn't call that a huge team by any means.

Matagi and Lillyman are both forwards and Hurrell has played 2nd off the bench so far this season. Still not a weak forward pack but not up to the size and standard they have run with in previous seasons.

It's a good looking team. - but that's the thing with the Warriors - It doesn't mean its a good team.

They have under-performed forever this mob. No reason to think they'll change the way they play now.

Tomkins is smashable. Johnson can be rattled - in fact if we play them like we have Souffs and the Titans, we will make a statement.

Hurrell is my concern - it's like when Justin Hodges plays against the Tigers - they Tackle him like he is covered in spiders.

Plenty of bombs to tomkins with gavet, taupau, sue, etc bearing down on him and he's guaranteed to spill a few. If we play at 80% of last weeks effort we will win comfortably. 34-10 my prediction

That's not a bad side but I reckon we can take them if we get up in their faces like we did to Souths. Beat them in the ruck and Johnson won't be able to do much.

Evenly matched squads when you look at the individual players but I feel like the Tigers are working better as a team right now. Stick to structure and be disciplined and we'll win.

Think we could be a big show in this game

How the senior players can keep a lid on some overconfidence after the Souths game will be crucial

Again I will be happy if the forwards show up and compete for the 80 minutes , win ,lose or draw

We are heading in the right direction , that's for sure

Warriors teams on paper… either every pass sticks for them and they are downright amazing, or the opposite and they are absolutely diabolical. I think is more important how the Tigers play this game than evaluating the Warriors squad, it will probably come down to who cracks first, and will be a massive test for us to keep it together following last weeks massive efforts.

Johnson has always been the key to how this team performs. If he's off the Warriors are dour, flat and ineffective. He's at his best when his pack is rolling forward and on his day can almost match it with the best of them.

Matulino and Rapira were very good on the weekend. They will be key match ups against our bookends. Teddy will really test them especially if he can work his magic around the ruck.

Our bench vs their bench… no contest IMO. Lillyman is an able replacement but nothing special, Hurrell is ok as a forward but much more potential in the centres even though his defence is deplorable, TL will be trying to find his feet after returning from injury from the World Cup, Matagi's a bit like our boys, adds lots of punch off the bench.

Overconfidence aside we should take them.
