Hard to argue with the fellow forumers!, to only lose by 10 points against such overwhelming statistics is a heroic effort, 5-10 penalty count, were they that badly disciplined, I think not.
Eight extra sets the boys had to defend, how can you win against such odds, after all of Manu's dud efforts in his previous 'Milestone' games someone had to help him get over the line!.
And yes Badger my finger is fully outstretched in disgust!.

For 20 mins in that first half we went into meltdown mode and fell back to all our bad habits. For the rest of the game we competed really hard but that bad 20 cost us dearly. I can see us turning into a real good team that in the future will be able to overcome poor refereeing decisions/bad luck.

Got some very rough calls, but we had the chance to win and blew it.

Promising signs in attack.

Not sure what Moses offers the team at this point.

Refs clearly decided the game :frowning:
That was obvious forward pass to second Vatuvei try :frowning:
Woods was again above the rest, 196 m  Certainly the best prop in NRL this year.
Farah made a few mistakes in attack, that ball behind Richards and that pass to Sironen.
A few bad defence reads by Farah and Simona.
Lawrence is much better in defence this year, but unfortunately he offers nothing in attack.
He is porbbaly the worst offansive center in NRL :frowning:
Too many missed tackles - 29 to 13 :frowning:

Good summary…however I though Galloway outplayed Woods in both attack and defence tonight. Stats can be misleading.

Nice summary Benji but I agree with Stryker in relation to Galloway and Woods

No point blaming match officials. Our inability to gain repeat sets, poor execution and lack of respect for possession lost us this game.

Have to agree Brash. Moses is only a rookie so can cut him some slack but geezus, I reckon Gearge Rose would have a better kicking game than Moses has got. Are we the only side in the NRL who has a playmaker that can't kick to save himself? Put the feelers out for Maloney I would suggest.

My apologies i did one by accident .

Yeah but what about the swearing FT?

Didn't say the actual word , but could be translated what i was saying . Wasn't aware you couldn't do that.
Anyway caught in the moment.

Agree with all said tonight.

We were fantastic for 60 out of 80 minutes. Having said that, I think the warriors' first try was rubbish, it was just unfortunate that he ref signalled try first up as they couldn't overturn it. Even the commentators thought it should have been a red call. From there they got a run on.

Tigers will see this as a very winnable game that got away.

Never mind. Next week will bring two points

lol maloney…hes missed about 50 tackles this season.

Unfortunately we have the smallest set of halves in the competition. It would not take a genius to work out that the Warriors' plans would be to run straight at our halves all night.

Make of this what you will but I really believe that when we are in a defensive set Moses should move to wing with Lawrence to 5/8 and Richards to centre. This pattern would pay dividends especially when we play a heavyweight team like the Warriors.

Once again the team that is expected to win gets all the calls and is refereed in a different manner to the other team.

Hard to enjoy the game these days.

It is getting beyond a joke.
Why don't the insipid commentators ever see this?
Too scared to bag the referees?
Impossible to win when every call goes against you - resulting in little possession.

We just got no ball at all..

They could do whatever they wanted….some od their play the balls were ridiculous.

Not forgetting the two tries that werent.....

I think Mark Gasnier agreed with you. He was more impressed by what the Tigers did against the odds than by the Warriors actually winning! Former players usually know how these things work.

Yes you are right Flip heard him as well and nice to hear him give our blokes some credit although I am finding it a bit hard to be as positive at least until tomorrow when it will be time to get psyched up for the raiders next week
