Watchful Tigers keen to snare Blair

At the very least I think our entry into discussions may drive his price up and Panicy Parra may pay more for him…

Blair is 25 and has possibly 7 years in him.

Honestly - Initial thoughts was wow but I'm NOT warming to the Idea.

I feel a bout of dead wooding on its way come end of this season...

I reckon we will see Utai, Daniela, Moors, Flanagan and as much as I hate to say it, Brown at the end of the year to accommodate him. I don't believe depth will be an issue though as Moors has never stood up at FG level for us despite him being a talent and the fact Daniela rarely ever got a chance despite him being a good acquistion speaks volumes about how much depth we have at the back.

I truly hope we find room for Brown though, because he is the only fullback apart from Wade Mac who has a complete game in that position.

The only must sign is Fifita IMO. But would like to keep Brown and/or Daniella but with some of the young players coming through we should be right. I think the club would see him as a replacement for Todd Payten with next year being his last. I think he would be a great signing. My initial thought was we should be after a prop like James Graham instead but with Fifita and Woods coming through and Gibbs, Payten and Galloway established we should be right but might need another backup prop for 2013 when Payten goes.
 
Would be dissapointed to lose Fafita but Blair would be a great buy!

I cant believe some people on here, we are talking a rep standard prop and people are carrying on like its bad news, especially if it means losing a few outside backs!!

And in regards to worrying about the cap I am sure Humphreys and the team have that well under control.

I too have also read that Benji & Blair don't get along, on this site I believe but I've never seen any confirmation. They're both professional and can both co-exist in a team without childish scwabbles.

500k is too expensive, he is a good player but I think he is asking too much. He might of been getting that illegally @ Melbourne but I don't think too many clubs could squeeze that under the cap.

I would have him on my team for sure, he is a hard worker and I think he'd look great in a tigers jersey.

Would be a great signing IMO. we have a lot of good outside backs so we could afford to lose a couple and as someone else said he is only 25 and most forwards shine from mid 20s onwards. If Adam signs we would have 1 of the best packs in the comp if not the best and not so long ago we were always labelled to small and to soft. hope this comes true. go the tigers

Are you guys actually insane why would the tigers get rid of fulton,moors and fifita, they are both amazing players and junior moors is big. The tigers could easily just get rid of bryce gibbs and the schirnack brothers they are halfway to hopeless.
 
If it meant the loss of Fafita i would not be in favour of signing Blair.

Surely $500k is not the right price, again for this amount i think we can do without him.

Having said that he would be a great addition to the team, in the right circumstances.
 
The least thing that the tigers could do is get rid of robert lui and aaron woods because they might be able to free up some space.
