I see Blair as a direct replacement for Payten who I reckon will move on to the UK for a year or two before a return in a coaching role with the Tigers.

Tremendous footballer Blair If we are able to to snare him , I do hope it is not at the expense of our young guns fifita or woods as I heard cronulla have a genuine interest in them to replace snowden .

Does anyone else smell a smokescreen?
I have noticed over the last week there have been press articles about:
1\. Billy Slater extending his contract
2\. The two young guns the Storm "stole" from under the tigers noses
3\. The storm are close to resigning Widdop and Duffy
In all these articles, particularly the more recent two, there has been no reference to Blair. Are the Storm trying to give the impression that everything is rosy and their players are happy to resign and their depth is strong? If so is this a cover as they are already resigned to losing Blair?

I listened to the Blair interview (After Dogs Game) with Talking Sport on the Itunes site and their was no mention of the Tigers discussed…
I know that one doesn't / shouldn't do this sort of talking whilst in the midst of negotiating but I thought it remiss of the the 2SM crew not to even broach the subject. My only reasoning is that they may have been asked not to talk about it.

As for Dogs loosing Idris, The will have to replace him with a centre, They are looking for another Gun FWD to replace Andrew Ryan so thats makes 2 players they.

Spartan 117 is correct the dogs will chase a centre, & i think andrew ryan might get another year on his contract @ the dogs & by what i can gather idris was not on huge money. I think blair will leave the storm & can only hope he comes to the tigers.
