Watchful Tigers keen to snare Blair

Which makes it a near certainty. Can't remember T-rexx being wrong.

Not sure why we didn't go after a bloke like Widdop. Blair will be very, very good but fullback really could use filling in.

Mullaney in a couple of years? Brown before then?

We do have some options int hat area.

I think Blair was too good a player not to have a crack at.

Probably because he's been injured for about 50% of games since he signed with us.

Mckinnon is good when he's 100% fit, but that has been rare and he's not getting any younger.

for $550k!!! wow that is huge coin! for those dollars we could buy just about any player in the comp, dont think he is worth that sort of coin! should have offered that to slater!

The 25-year-old Blair, who is relishing the Storm's flamboyant playing style this season, says no-one in the club is getting carried away with their position on the ladder."We haven't spoken about it, it's about playing every game to the best of our ability," he said. The Kiwi international says he hopes to have his playing future decided "sooner rather than later" and that he hopes to follow other recent re-signings Billy Slater, Matt Duffie, Ryan Hinchliffe and Kevin Proctor and stay in Melbourne.- AAPhttp://[www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/04/20/3197079.htm?site=melbourne](http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2011/04/20/3197079.htm?site=melbourne)

Apparently he's on $220k at the Storm, he'll get considerably more if he joins the Tigers. I suspect a decision will be made in the next couple of weeks, hopefully…

Watchful Tigers keen to snare Blair….

Careless Tigers let Douglas slip by without an effort....

I certainly know where I would've thrown the cash at. Its really a joke that we didn't try sign Douglas.

8\. Galloway
10\. Douglas
11\. Ellis
12\. Heighington
13\. Gibbs

14\. Fifita
15\. Woods
16\. Dwyer
17\. Fulton/Murdoch Masila

.....

Very true, he's worth his weight in gold that he doesn't get injured and is a reliable prop.

Definitely picked up the wrong bloke from Yamba…

Luke Douglas is from Yamba so I suspect he was trying to move closer to home. He has left the Sharks for less money so we weren't in the run.

Blair may have also become harder to get if the Sharks get interested now.

i read that james graham is signing with bulldogs and sharks might sign byrcee gibbs from us to we can fit adam blair but i dotn think gibbs will leaves its prob rumers our ceo even said his our leader http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/sport/cronullas-priority-to-fight-for-snowden/story-e6frg7mf-1226042447181

Quote from the link above

"Alternatively, the Sharks could look to Wests Tigers forward Bryce Gibbs, who is believed available as his club attempts to make room for Melbourne and New Zealand forward Adam Blair"

I don't see this happening.

PS I wish our unofficial Contract Thread was updated and Added to the Menu
