Watson Heleta off contract but not farewelled

Just realised that Watson Heleta wasn't farewelled at the farewell but he is off contract for 2018\. The most probable explanation is the club is finalising a deal with him but anyone want to take some guesses?

All the other farewells were first-graders. Pretty sure Bailey Sironen and Marshall King weren't farewelled either.
