I've never really met the guy, but I've heard very mixed reports. By the sounds of it, the fans seem to like him, because he makes himself out as simply one of them, but on the other hand the players, some officials and even the journos don't like him. While it's great for the fans to like you, ultimately the best relationship he should have is with the players, staff and media people, which seems to be the problem. He's also a great self-promoter, which is good for him, but comes across really poorly with the players and staff. They could probably have someone a little more professional by the sound of it

I disagree with this.. Wayne is close with the players so don't know how you get the players don't like him.. And I think you'll find he does get on well with media ppl…. And how do I know this.. I am close to someone there.. The players have that much respect for him and see him as one of the boys.. Which is what you need I think to succeed as they will feel comfortable dealing with him..

Well he must be doing a great job, pretty sure this is his 7th season with the club. I've looked at other clubs websites and the amount of work Cuzzo does is outstanding.

I use to sit on halfway with Sean cousins and family in the eighties and nineties as balmain supporters. Mate he loves the tigers. Good family man with probably limited ability. A good guy just earning a quid in something he loves. He won't win any literature or media awards but then what do you expect
 
I have actually met Wayne on two occasions, the most notable when The family did the NRL add back in 2006 with Hodgo down in a Balmain photo studio…

Nice enough guy to us general fans, It cant be easy to have your game face on all the time when your well known to the hard core WT junkies like us...

I seriously want his job....
 
Seriously, I think he does an OK job, yeh the storys are sometimes fluffy, but hes here to promote the team,club players in a positive light….I hear the radio boys seem to think hes OK

Wouldnt be easy when yet again another school visit happens and you gotta try and come up with some sort of new, interesting angle for the story

Nah mate, I wish I was, could come in handy sometimes. Just think the guy does a great job, more so then any of us could do.?

As Stryker said this is becoming annoying. I'm sure he's a great guy, but at the end of the day he's only a media manager. Whats the obsession? don't mean to sound rude but i doubt the majority of people would care

I'm happy to take your word for it, but I was just saying what I had heard from someone who works in media. I get the impression that he would probably believe that he is one of the boys, but most of the players would be too nice to put crap on him. Only thing I can criticise from my own experience is some of the things on the site, the video in particular. I think they should probably go with someone more suited to video/TV, and I agree with some of the other forumers that plenty of the stories on the site are a bit fluffy.
