We all love NRL but what are your favorite top 5 sports

Yes got a treat Nov 1982 was in private box courtside Australian open was at KOOYONG
saw womens final some Brazilian girl I think also men's doubles .Shows my age a bit
Men's doubles would have been The Super Macs in 1982, wouldn't it? Or maybe my favourite John Fitzgerald and Wally Masur?

Just 2 poor bustards beating the crap out of each other for money. Only character tested is the lack of it from the audience
Yep, not like any of them aren't some of the fittest, most dedicated athletes in sport who have to master wrestling, bjj, boxing and Muay Thai just to get anywhere near being able to make a decent living out of it.

And no mental fortitude involved in cutting weight in the weeks leading up to a bout just so you're not at a massive disadvantage.

It takes absolutely years of hard work and dedication to get to the UFC.

It's 2023, not 1993....

Not saying anyone has to like it, but I am saying that's an incredibly dismissive, uninformed statement.

Reminds me of the old boxing fans who use to say its lame or barbaric....

It's an out of date opinion.

It is. It's fine to not like it, but anyone who has ever even hit a heavy bag for a single minute non stop would gain an appreciation of what is involved.
I love seeing the life long wrestlers learn some striking and coming into the sport and killing it.

MMA is the peak of combat sports.
