We have to re-sign Mitch Brown NOW

I think after his game against Penrith in the centres covering for Lawrence, we have to re-sign him. His defence was excellent with a few good reads and some very strong defence. If he isn't worth keeping then I'm a very poor judge.

In any case, he has been Mr Reliable in the past 18 months hasn't he.

Anyone…....

It possibly has more to do with how much his manager is asking… I see Mitch as a good bloke who always try's well, and has been reliable for us whenever called upon. In saying that, I dont see him as anything more than a good reliable back-up who is just below NRL Standard.

Minimum Contract - Yes, nothing more.

Would be happy to resign brownie, although he probably isn't in our 17 next season, if he is happy to stay on in a back up role just to be part of it I'd love to keep him. Although he would prefer a first grade spot elsewhere I say.. Would like him to resign

I think Mitch is exactly the kind of guy we need at the club, he's reliable and consistent.

I really hope he stays.

I would be more than happy if we re-signed him. He has done everything WT have asked of him.

Agree with pretty much all the above. Would be a handy #14, as he can cover centre, wing and full back, and potentially to a small degree in the 2nd row.

What is he worth? NFI to be honest!

Such a great player , deserves to be a NRL first 13 player , i think WT's have probably already offered him something for next year . He is probably looking at all his options in the hope of securing a starting role somewhere else .

If Brown was given the chance in the starting lineup, week in and week out, he would develop into a very fine player. He needs to be playing first grade consistently. Just look at how well he was playing last year, during our run into the finals, when he had a permanent position in the team.

brown is a very good player. can fill in anywhere and rarely has a bad game. im genuinely shocked another club hasnt signed him up. he would walk into at least half of the nrls backlines

Yeah agree Rambo I can't possibly not seeing us not making an offer to him
He is probably just wanting to do the best for himself money and career wise
No issues here with that

I hope he stays, surely the club wants to keep him but maybe he is after more money and is shopping around for the best deal he can get, which is fair enough too.

Brown is a decent player, there are loads of blokes like him around, whether or not we resign him will depend on his asking price, unfortunately for Mitch we dont really need him, so we wont, pay him too much, for his sake hopefully someone needs him and will pay his asking price.
He'd be handy if we have him, if we lose him, well so be it, cant keep them all

I'm with the majority. I really hope he stays due to his reliability and versatility.

With a bit of confidence from a run of games i think you'd see his rate of involvement increase a lot too which would help him no end.
