We Made the Finals

This season gets a big fat F as far as I am concerned. Failed to make the finals yet again.

With the roster the Tigers have & having no impact from 3 of our top 5 signings to be fighting for a spot in the finals in the last week is more of a pass than a fail especially with the amount changes that will happen in the offseason.

Maybe we've found a sucker to take Packer, Matulino and McQueen off our hands.

Seriously, McQueen has got to be up there as an all time worst signing. He's played 7 games, if that, and he'd be on close to 500k. And he hasn't even been injured. Could have been much different had he not picked up the neck injury after we signed him.

So we didn't make the play off finished 9th which in the scheme of things is not to bad fistly
New COACH and I emphasize the word COACH
New front row rotation that performed well and can only improve next year.
Some very exciting talent being given a run in CC as well as some goodens in the Flegg Cup.
Last but not least which should have made all our season WE FINISHED IN FRONT OF THE BUS DRIVER when you look at Penriffs roster at the beginning of the season they were a shoe in for the top 8 the departure of Cleary could be one of the best things that has happened to WESTSTIGERS since 2005.

The Tigers are very active in the player market, it appears to be around players between 18 & 24 rather than players between 28 & 34,there will be a lot more depth. There is apparently going to be changes to the coaching staff as well. There is a group of quality Qld youngsters heading down to be shown around in the school holidays & potentially have a training run with the NRL squad (just what I have been told, I don’t know why they are still training).
