Yeah! What kind of idiot picks a back on the bench? Well apart from this guy:

Seems to have worked well for that "idiot."

He's laughing all the way to the bank.

Don't be fooled by all those premierships and the fact he is almost universally recognised as the best coach in the game. The man often picks a back on the bench and is therefore flawed in his thinking. Get with the programme CB!

I have no issue with a four forward bench against certain sides especially given the young age of some of our forwards. The week in, week out grind of the NRL appears to be taken its toll and if we can reduce their workload where possible will do us well over the whole season.

Confirmation that Bennett is a genius as this week he has picked a seven man bench. Visionary

4 forwards, equal rotation means less fatigue and more physical impact.

I'm sick of this rubbish 3 forwards/ 1 back that is being served up to us. I hate it. Our forwards are exhausted !!!!!!

When will you learn !!!!!

You are dying to say 'SACK SHEENS' but are trying to keep a low profile in excile

I agree with bug we always play our best football when we have four forwards on the bench.Everyone mentioning bennett well hes coach of st george not wests so as they are a totally different team to us they need a totally different gameplan. You are all so quick to jump on the bug but he does speak a lot of sense at times.Play the ball not the man.

Newsflash…..

I went through every team they All have a back or backup hooker on the bench bar Parra.....they goin great...

Agree but can't see the issue with having a player than can do both on bench More effective in my mind .

Our current pack with all it's injuries is not cutting the mustard. It is gonna get steamrolled by Souths on Friday.

Blokes like Dwyer look like they are gonna break into tears on the field. We need more Oomph. Sure we beat Canberra but we had a great backline that game.

We need to win the physical battle.

I enjoyed watching Heighington against Easts. If we have Dwyer fire up like him we could probably get away with a back on the bench.

Other sides in the NRL have different dynamics to us. It's not a apples for apples comparison when comparing other teams bench's to us.

Well you got me on that one,

This guy has not missed the semi finals twice in the last 15 years, our bloke has made the semis twice in the last 15 years.

Great comparison :roll

So just to clarify, your problem is not with his tactics but Sheens himself? Okay now we're getting to the bottom of it aren't we?

Apples for Apples Yoss. I honestly believe it would help us instead of the token back on the bench that gets ten minutes at the end to the benifit of no one.

Totally agree with The Bug.

Given we have so many young forwards in our side and Sheens only uses the back on the bench for 10 minutes I makes sense to have four forwards on the bench and share the work load.

It is a long season and we need to try and retain the same side week in week out.

Teams that win Grand finals seem to have a good run with injuries.

Sheens needs to manage the team better so we can try and cut down on injuries.
